670M GRADED RACES AT THE ZOO..
Last Saturday the John Walton trained RACECOURSE SUESU won the Belle Vue Owners Forum Stakes [OR] over the 670m trip in the line-up there were 5 graded runners at the ZOO who took part so I see no reason why another 670m race this time a graded event can't take place on our race card sometime in the near future.
Boring race cards are no good to anybody we need variety on our race cards not just 470m races week in week out so in my opinion all owners who want to there greyhound going over 670m should ask there trainers to keep banging on the door of the racing office in order make these races become more regular.
The Bags Championship is about to kick off and there will be races over six-bends at Newcastle, Sunderland, Kinsley, Doncaster in our group so hopefully once that comp is out of the way the greyhounds that took part should be available to race over our 670m trip in graded races on there return..

Variety is the spice of life. We should be having sprints and races over the extended distance.

Here's hoping the 670m open races fill over the few weeks and if they do perhaps it will encourage Belle Vue owners and trainers to try there greyhounds over the extended trip in these events.
