Its coming up to a year since I got involved with greyhounds and all because of your 40% scheme and I am so glad I did what a fantastic journey I have had and may it long continue

THIS IS THE PENULTIMATE TIME FOR UPDATING OUR LISTS.
there are lots of reasons for this taking place.
in the first instance of the 40% taking place bv was or appeared short on dogs.
we have had about 18 months now of this scheme.
initially ALL our dogs had a chance or chances.this led i think to an imbalance of winners and we got miles in front.although Mr Thompson was in abeyance at that period.and this was reflected.
NOW to me the 40% are as much owners as anyone else but this is not recognised by the authorities.
SO although we do get winners[to me]it doesn't happen pro rata each dog but on numbers.
AND should we have a decent appearing dog , it then magically has to run from a disadvantageous trap to inhibit its chances.NOT FAIR.
if we are as trainers/owners extolled to get more and more dogs then all these things should be taken into account. last year we had a stellar year yet it caused more trouble for us than you can imagine.EVEN THE GBGB REP.TOLD US WE HAD MADE RACING AT BV UNCOMPETITIVE we were accused of cheating ,giving dogs surreptitious additives to gain advantage.by outside characters.
THERE IS NO COMPLAINT ABOUT THE RACING MANAGER,HE HAS TO DO WHAT HE HAS TO DO AS HE SEES IT.
HOWEVER.I can't see us carrying on in the same way. NOT ALL owners want to be involved in this type of ownership.and it was only done to make a lighter load for both the 40%ter and myself.
so although as a READER by now you have come to the nitty gritty.FOR SALE OR ON 40%.THIS LIST OF DOGS.make your own inquiries.

I think your '40% SHARE SYNDICATES' has been a God's send for all concerned and the biggest winner in my eyes has been the track with the Kersal kennels providing over 40 runners a week at the ZOO.
I fully understand where your coming from with your above posting.

The 40% scheme has aloud me to be involved with then one dog at one time and echo with what Dave as said . Where would you find a kennel that outlays the cash for these dogs then offer them for sale before or after they trials not the 40% ?? All I can say is one or two more winners would not go a miss as we all do in this sport
