A very informative short film at what goes on behind the scenes at our beloved Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium better to many of us as 'THE ZOO'
Well done Roy you are a credit to the stadium some people will be amazed when they watch the film but to be honest i have seen first hand what pride you take in your work 7 out of 10 NO MATE YOU GET A '10' FROM ME...
Cheers Jon . I just felt it was time to record stuff properly , I am not trying to show off or anything , but the lads on the maintenance team all try their very best to put on a good show . We ' ve just had a Formula 1 Stock Car meeting but we all got stuck in to start to get everywhere back on track especially the trackside areas . All sheeting has been removed to tidy up the main showpiece area with the big Scurry Cup night coming up .
The flowers I have got in the main troughs , I am constantly feeding them with plant food and watering them constantly . Hopefully those displays will last a bit longer , that is stay as they are for the Scurry Night !!!!
I have put a few hanging baskets up around the place , I was only going to do a few of them but this has got out of control ! I have got my main Brigggs and Stratton mower back so the two centre green pods look better mowed as it is a more powerfull machine , and the mowing looks more professional .
Thanks Norma and everyone for the comments . I am just trying to show some positive footage . Some members have come up to me and said its the sort of film , that folk who give us a bad review along with the protesters won ' t be able to deal with . Suddenly we have a lot of nice stuff on view so I am looking for a response from those folk .
On the current gardening side , I still have a bit still to do after the Formula 1 Stock Cars which is mainly sorting the coach car park out and strimming the paddock areas . On the flower side , hopefully the main flower trough displays can just last a bit longer , hopefully to the Scurry Cup Final night when it will be packed I am sure and the trackside must look as good as possible ! The hanging baskets are fairly good and all the lavender is growing well .
