Good morning young fella Just a few words on your performance on Sunday You Royston looked as if you had listened and took in everything that you were taught at the school of hard knocks Drawn wide and you kept wide no looking for trouble on the inside showing gut's in the battle you were having with the blue throughout the race and then what did you do young Royston only run wide at the final bend giving up the lead l thought that was that but not on your Nelly you showed great tenacity to get back up to take the victory in your best time yet Tony toenail one of the Old Codger Crew pointed out to me the reason you had run wide at the bend it was to do the six(not big or clever and no hounds were hurt)who was making rapid progress over the top a nice piece of track craft from my young warrior Very well done Roy onwards and upwards

Good morning Roy The weight of the teams expectations are on your young shoulders this weekend as you Royston will be the only one to compete and it's the Zoos bags meeting tomorrow when you are to enter the arena A3 is the grade and you will be wearing the Orange jacket which seemed to suit you last time you ran Your kennel mate Michael (who has won in a higher grade) and the young Termite usually fire themselves from the traps which could be fortuitous as it could let you stay clear of trouble gather momentum out wide to deliver a challenge down the home straight well that's the theory young fella Whatever the outcome of the race as long as you come back safe and sound that would be a victory for me the team and the Old Codger Crew anyway Good luck

Good evening young fella In our team talk this morning l told you that if you tried your best that would be good enough for me Well Royston not only did you try your best you also cranked it up a notch and got the victory Track craft was their for all to see as you missed your break slightly but paced up getting ahead of the hounds on your inside and getting to the rail at the first bend and then moving to the middle to do battle with the white jacket at the final bend you had the lead where you then put your paws to the floor to take the victory by the way Roy the way you moved wide on the run in to force the orange middle quality young sir quality
