I've sent you a PM Chester did you get it. No - when you addressed it did the furst few words typed bring up my Forum name? Did you enter the message in the Blank space and then click Create Message. Once you get one away you will be OK. When you do they are better in that each PM and the replies form a thread. Keep trying I will PM you if it arrives.

I like the new look color scheme here on the BVOF
May i suggest you leave it as it now in order to let the members get use to it.
I'm sure you will get plenty of feed back over the next few days, but for the time being i for one like it very much.

The dark background makes the threads stand out really well Jimmy I think this is a super colour mix you have come up with. I agree leave this up for a few days for more comments. Well done

Trials and tribulations for us all – forum version change to version 5
Attempting to log on our forum a whole 7 days ago, I found myself peering at a strange apparition and left wondering what the devil was going on because it wouldn’t let me log in.
This, once I had finally managed to gain access, turned out to be a replacement upgrade to our old forum - what is now termed version 5 - “NEW FORUM”.
I feel it almost certain – that most who have tried it, like myself, will have both positive and negative thoughts on what at first appeared to be a total shambles of the first order!
To say that we lost something when this change was made, is a given for me, as I was getting fairly comfortable with using it as it was, the layout suited, I had no problems navigating around – or indeed finding exactly what it was I wanted – with ease. Plus – I have an aversion to sudden changes.
The only negative aspect of the old forum – was that sometimes I found it difficult when attempting to format certain posts, as the control and scope was very limited to most users.
Now that we have been in business for a whole week on our NEW FORUM, we find that we have lost a fair few posts - so no delving in the archives for some, but happily things now appear to be settling down.
It will still be some time before most of us fully get the hang of things, particularly some of the older end such as myself – but I am slowly getting there using the very helpful support forum – where you can post “forum operational” queries, and get a fairly speedy response.
The – “you have a new personal message” email link is a nice touch, but it’s a great pity this is literally been “hours” out of sync, notice arriving some time after a post has been answered - but this gap is closing slowly but surely.
I definitely think that momentum has been lost, and it could well be some time before this is regained – if at all.
This is surely the period where the regulars are going to have to pull together and persevere, perhaps be even more innovative – introduce new aspects to the board, to help bring this board back to life and to the fore once again.
I suspect this won’t be easy, because there are enough detractors out there, enthusiasm in our sport is still on the wane because of “Owner” ill feeling at the way that owners, are allegedly being treated by management – and in some cases being taken for granted by trainers!
Why is there never more consultation and involvement in decisions over our animals?
In the recent changeover to the Sunday Bags trainers were overheard bemoaning their lot and stating openly what they would and would not be prepared to do – so never mind the owners then – they don’t have any say, only when paying their bills eh? Just my little rant!!!
Will this be a bold new start – to 2013 and our new forum?
Only time will tell – but in some quarters, It won’t be for the want of trying, don’t let this turn into a one man band!
Let’s be ‘avin yer then

Thanks for the feedback, Manseefan. Its most welcome. I am failing to reconcile your statement that you are averse to change when you clearly support Manchester City.

I've had some great feed-back today regarding the new color set-up here on the NEW LOOK BELLE VUE OWNERS FORUM.
So I've decided now to leave things as they are now until April 1st.
Please feel free to leave any comments you may have concerning the new look B.V.O.F.
Many Thanks on behalf of the B.V.O.F. Moderating Team.......
