Race 1 Grade A2 Time 28.14
Lord Montague, 4s to 7/2, was outboxed by the first two and finished third having turned third.

Race 2 Grade A5 Time 28.66
Stevie Tease, 5/2 to 6/4, trapped best and made all.

Race 3 Grade A4 Time 28.68
Redley Ryley, 7/2 to 3s, missed the break and turned fourth following a first bend crowd. He ran on from the third bend to finish second. Georgias Hawk, 6s to 5s, moved inside at the bend and crowded Ryley doing himself no good in the process. He turned third and kept on well for third.

Race 4 Grade A3 Time 29.32
Drombanna Cookie, 3s to 5/2, finished a well beaten second. He missed the break but, after pacing up well to the bend, checked behind the leader at the second bend and his chance had gone.

Race 6 Grade A6 Time 28.68
Cash support for Spinning Around, 3s to 5/2, who put in his best run to date impressively taking the lead on the run up and winning easily.

Race 8 Grade A8 Time 29.19
The out of form Chatoms Gift, backed late with cash support from 4s to 3s, ended her winless run despite putting in a performance arguably no better than the uninspiring efforts she has put in recently. Given the failings of her rivals in the trapping and early pace department she looked sure to lead and did so. She just about held on though it looked hard work for the bitch and her supporters.

Race 9 Grade A9 Time 29.19
Support for another out of form animal in the shape of Mullahill Boy, 7/4 to 5/4, who ran fairly poorly here and finished last. The drop to A9 surely encouraged the support but the dog started slowly, didn't show his best early pace and after just about scraping round into second place looked unconvincing until crowded between bends three and four and again off the fourth bend.

Race 10 Grade A5 Time 28.65
Baby Blue Hawk, 5/2 to 9/4, finished third but ran well. After a slow start he was bumped at the first bend. He then ran on well and providing he stays fit is likely to win shortly.

Race 11 Grade A4 Time 28.35
Tudor Star, 7/2 to 5/2, burst out of traps a length clear and she had extended her lead considerably by the time the line arrived. Slaneyside Magic, 3s to 11/4, started slowly before early pacing into second place until the halfway point. He finished third.

Today, BAGS. Paulo has a four timer.

Race 2 Grade A6 Time 28.81
Betfair and Office money for Droopys Valdez, 7/4 to 5/4, who led the bend but found the better class, but recently out of form red sheet, racing up inside him at the third bend. Valdez, played by Burt Lancaster in the film , settled for third. The distances given out at the track bear no relation to those on the Racing Post site. The Dogs site seemed to have given up the ghost.

Race 7 Grade A4 Time 28.43
Late money from Mr Betfair for Millroad Maggie, 11/4 to 2s, who finished last. After a slow start she turned in fourth place and made no progress. Her best two recent runs have been on heavy going. It was fast today.

Race 8 Grade A2 Time 28.13
An impressive win by the Office supported Golden Orchid, 2s to 7/4, who was handy at the bend when crowded back to third place a position from which he strode out impressively to collar the leader near the line.

Race 9 Grade A4 Time 28.40
Cash support for Little Gossip, 3s to 11/4, who finished an every chance second after turning third dog.

Race 10 Grade A3 Time 28.17
Office money for Junes Deezy, 2s to 7/4, who held the rails and led the bend closely pursued by the white sheet. She burned him off at halfway and won comfortably.

Race 12 Grade A3 Time 28.44
Office money for Swift Crown, 4s to 11/4, who looked nicely placed near the first bend only to find the black sheet moving across and whacking him. Ouch! He turned fifth and finished third staying on well.

Race 13 Grade A1 Time 28.03
Monagea Lodge, 4s to 3s, was immediately crowded at the start when the reserve in the orange sheet moved middle. After a further crowd at the second she finished fourth.

Race 2 Grade A8 Time 29.10
Tyrur McIlroy, 3s to 5/2, made a poor start before showing excellent pace to the bend to turn handy. He mastered the leader at the third and won well. Sleek Parker, backed at 5/2, also made a poor start before turning in fifth place. He kept on well for third place.

Race 3 Grade A6 Time 29.13
Aiming to Win, 2s to 11/8, ran on late to finish a close after turning fourth dog following a first bend crowd. He also didn't get the best of runs at the third bend.

Race 4 Grade A7 Time 29.17
A terrific finish which left punters wondering about the result here with three dogs separated by a sh and all three set to meet in next week's final. Nicoles Purse, 11/4 to 5/2, led the bend until caught close to the line by Talk Now, 2s to 7/4, who had turned in second place.

Race 5 Grade A7 Time 28.9
Backers of Tyrur Nani, 3s to 2s, had the misfortune to see the winner trapping clear. Nani turned second dog off the second bend and ran well for runner up spot. With a better start he'll have a major say in next week's final.

Race 6 Grade S4 Time 36.84
Shut Up Monkey, 7/4 to 5/4, lost his chance at traps with a very poor start. He finished a creditable third. Sup Lolls, 4s to 7/2, started slowly before running wide at the second bend. She turned in fourth place before progressing to take up second place at the fourth but was relegated back to third at the sough before finishing fifth. She ran like a non-stayer.

Race 7 Grade A5 Time 28.67
Fancy Lady, 3s to 7/4, missed the break before accelerating into the lead near the first bend and she won comfortably. El Groove, 5/2 to 2s, trapped best but ended up closely contesting second place from the second bend. She secured that position near the line.

Race 8 Grade A4 Time 28.62
Bootle Tracer, 8s to 6s, made a poor start and finished a well beaten last having had every chance.

Race 9 Grade A3 Time 28.68
Slaneyside Moira, 3s to 5/2, raced up well to turn handy at the bend only to get the BIG E a consequence of which was collateral damage to Swift Bombay, 9/4 to 2s,. Moira held third place from the bend to off the last bend and finished last. Bombay found the strong running Trap 4 always on his inner following the bump he received and could never run his race. He finished fourth.

Race 10 Grade S3 Time 36.79
Support for Mist Over Pendle, 3s to 2s, who finished fourth. She missed the break but not the crowding at the first and third bends. Tudor Knight, 4s to 7/4, was knocked over at the first bend.

Race 11 Grade A1 Time 28.36
A race in which two dogs stood out on class both of which are showing indifferent form at the moment. Of the two it was His Own Business who was backed, 9/4 to 7/4, but he came up against a couple of in form greyhounds and after missing the break when the other two both trapped well Business turned in third place. He was relegated to fourth on the run in.

Race 12 Grade A2 Time 28.33
Barbican Robbie ran a fine race last time but looked boxed for trouble given the early speedstars boxed around him. He was backed though from 2s to 6/4 and finished last following a slow start and a big ouch at the bend.

Race 13 Grade A2 Time 28.54
Swift Ronaldo, 3s to 9/4, couldn't match the early of his rivals and following a first bend crowd found himself at the rear of the field. He stayed on for second place.

So, which nitwit backs a dog every time it runs apart from the owner?

Come along, cartwright45, graded racing requires the punter to choose the race he wants to back a certain dog in not adopt a blanket approach as you appear to have assumed.

I think you are being  unfair to Klup. Prior to its absence the dog won 20 races from 62 runs and a level stake on each run would have made a profit, at best price available, of nearly 30 points. Imagine the profit had one been selective .

You have picked up on the fact that the dog has not been right since his return AND he has been running on poor going hence his ten runs without a win. That ended last week when he showed much better form on better going.

Today, a BAGS card only marginally more attractive than the local vicar's sermon . Diane makes her debut on market movers with a three timer. No Office representation. All market moves were Betfair inspired except where stated. Duracell Graham of JP Doyle came close to the record for most price changes on a race with a cavalier wielding of his pen.

Race 1 Grade A8 Time 29.30
Talented Mary, 5/2 to 9/4, led the bend until the third where she was joined by the reluctant hero in the white sheet. When the latter refused Mary took the lead on the run in. Redley Rooster, 7/2 to 3s, was badly crowded at the first and second bends before finishing last.

Race 2 Grade A6 Time 29.25
Jogon Bonnie, 9/4 to 7/4, made a poor start and was crowded at the bend. Turning fourth dog she was finished off at the third bend when forced to check badly.

Race 3 Grade A9 Time 29.56
Finishing a well beaten last in a poor A9 just about sums up the performance of Nautical Hiflyer, 6/4 to 5/4, who was crowded back to fifth at the bend and then made no progress.

Race 4 Grade A8 Time 29.42
Hillview Tracey, 5/2 to 9/4,showed easily the best pace up to lead on the run to the bend and was clear by the third.

Race 5 Grade A4 Time 28.82
Sustained support for Dacent Lightfoot, 4s to 9/4, who was up against a fair bit of early here. After slight buffeting at the bend he turned in fifth place before pacing into second at the third bend. He then ran on well and for a moment off the last bend he looked likely to catch the leader but as the line approached it became clear that the leader would hold on and Lightfoot settled for second.

Race 7 Grade A2 Time 28.64
A cracking race in which Lord Montague, 4s to 7/2, led from traps until the halfway point where the two principals scooted past. Montague was still in touch at the third but checked slightly before losing ground on the run in though finishing third. Kelmar Holly, 7/2 to 3s, started slowly and could only turn in fourth place which is where she stayed to the line.

Race 8 Grade A4 Time 28.87
Cheveton, 3s to 5/2, turned second and got on top at the last bend to land his first win.

Race 9 Grade A3 Time 28.90
Cash support for the poorly drawn Tyrur Skippy, 5/2 to 7/4, who fell out of traps. In a manoeuvre clearly designed to give Capitano Roberto a clue as to which trap Skippy should be exiting from in future the dog moved to the middle at the first only to be forced to check badly before finishing last. No pain, no gain, Skippy!

Race 10 Grade A2 Time 28.49
Woodsgift Timmy, 4s to 7/2, quickened up well on the run up to lead near the bend but was caught on the run in and finished second. Ballyhill Becky, 4s to 7/2, took a slight crowd at the second and turned in fifth place. She kept on well for third place.

Race 11 Grade A5 Time 29.21
Adamant Shaw, 4s to 5/2, turned a handy second to the black sheet and led at the third when the red sheet helpfully intervened and bumped the black. Sing Along Boss, backed at 2s, was not matching the early pace of the principals when running off very wide at the second. She finished fifth.

Ballyfinn Og, 4s to 5/2, made a poor start and, moving middle at the bend, took a bump. He turned fifth and made no progress finishing fifth. He seems out of form at the moment.

Race 2 Grade A5 Time 28.35
Tuesdays Gift, 5/2 to 9/4, trapped well and turned a handy second to the quick starting blue sheet. She was crowded between bends three and four as the winner made his move and she finished fourth.

Race 3 Grade A2 Time 28.37
Drumcrow Lacey, 3s to 5/2, led at the second bend after missing the trouble on the rails. She was joined at the halfway point by the slow starting orange sheet and they raced together until the eventual winner led between bends three and four relegating Lacey to second place at the line.

Race 5 Grade A6 Time 28.57
The up and coming End of the Line, 3s to 5/2, raced up well after missing the break to lead the bend on the rails and by the second he had a winning lead. Druids Onda Run, 7/2 to 3, turned in traps and finished a well beaten last though his sectional suggests that he was not disgraced. There was Office money for a disappointing Tullymurry Heidi, 3s to 5/4, who made a slow start. She turned in fourth place before finishing a well beaten third.

Race 6 Grade A2 Time 27.99
Junes Deezy, 5s to 9/2, finished an every chance fourth after turning fourth dog to a spectacularly fast starting winner.

Race 7 Grade A6 Time 28.82
Thornfield Marco, 9/2 to 4s. finished second following a slow start. He was fifth dog at the second bend and kept on well to the line.

Race 8 Grade A5 Time 28.49
Both the Office supported Tyrur Mario, 3s to 5/2, and the Cash supported Broomhill Flash, 9/2 to 7/2, made poor starts and came together at the bend to compare notes. Ouch! They came together again between bends three and four before Flash picked his feet up and finished third. Mario finished fifth.

Race 9 Grade A3 Time 28.16
A large slice of luck in running ensured Swift Crown, 7/2 to 9/4, ran out an easy winner following a poor start. The black sheet cleared the way for the favourite my moving off at the bend after initially moving middle rails a manoeuvre which did for several rivals. Crown slipped round in third place and showed good middle pace to lead at the third bend.
