Today, BAGS. No Offfice representation. All market moves were inspired by Betfair unless stated. Race 1 Grade A5 Time 28.84 Strike Bound, 5/2 to 9/4, was forced to check at the second bend when in second place and made no progress afterwards finishing last. Race 2 Grade A5 Time 28.91 Ballyfin Ogg, 3s to 9/4, turned in second place following a modest start and led at the third after making the leader check at the third bend. Race 3 Grade A9 Time 29.78 The overall form of the second favourite underlined the chance which Kersal Zack, 5/2 to 6/4, appeared to have. After checking at the start he moved into second place at the second bend behind a short runner but made no progress finishing a one paced and disapponting fourth. More pressups are required! Race 4 Grade A6 Time 29.09 Honeysuckle Girl, 11/4 to 5/2, didn't show much early and after hitting the rails at the bend finished last. Race 5 Grade A6 Time 28.99 Smiths Causeway, 5/2 to 7/4, raced up quite well following a slow start and held second place from the bend to off the second bend and made no progress finishing fifth. Race 6 Grade A1 Time 28.77 Dacent Halifax, 4s to 5/2, trapped slightly better than the rest and led the bend. He held his advantage to the line without his performance or his time impressing. A Man Utd sort of effort . Race 7 Grade A7 Time 29.08 Kersal Mason, 11/4 to 7/4, missed the break and turned in third place. He dropped back a place at halfway before keeping on to finish third. Thornfield Rita, 7/2 to 5/2, made a poor start and after running very wide at the second was fifth off the bend. She checked very wide between bends three and four and finished fifth. Race 8 Grade A2 Time 28.50 Danielles Bell, 7/2 to 11/4, trapped a length in front and led pursued by the inform white sheet. She quickened on between bends three and four and won with some ease. Race 9 Grade A3 Time 28.20 The winner's time and performance put the cat among the pigeons here . The rest were no match. Swift Bombay was supported in the ring from 7/2 to 3s, and raced up in a handy position until bumped at the bend. He stayed on from the third bend to finish a clear second. Redley Reason, 4s to 3s, turned in second place and finished a onepaced third. Lisheen Scolari, 4s to 3s, made a poor start and turned in fifth place. He was never a factor and finished fifth. Race 10 Grade A2 Time 28.66 Efceeunited, 5s to 4s, turned a handy second, led from halfway to bends three and four and then surprisingly outstayed the leader to lead on the line. Datona Quest, 9/2 to 4s, missed the break, turned in third place and finished fourth. Pottery Problem, 5/2 to 2s, finished a disappointing fifth after turning in fourth place.

Today, BAGS. The Great Thompsoni has a four timer.
Race 1 Grade A5 Time 28.79 Office money for Shureen Flash, 7/2 to 5/2, who failed to finish. Afte missing the break he checked and broke down at the bend.
Race 2 Grade A8 Time 29.24 Sizzling Champ, supported by the Offices from 3s to 5/2, led on the run up and just about held on for a win.
Race 6 Grade A6 Time 28.69 Betfair support for Glin Lark, 11/4 to 5/2, and Sup Lolls, 3s to 11/4. The former missed the break and in moving out at the first bend walloped Lolls who finished fifth. Lark turned in third place and finished fourth not producing the finish expected.
Race 7 Grade A1 Time 28.37 Betfair money for Followthe Master, 7/2 to 3s, who led on the run up until challenged between the last two bends. He failed to find much and finished fifth.
Race 8 Grade A6 Time 28.70 Office money for the in form Turnmoss Smokey, 5/2 to 2s, who found the stripes showing a bit more early after both missed the break. Smokey was forced to check by the latter at the first bend. He finished fourth.
Race 10 Grade A3 Time 28.36 Maurice Said, backed by Mr Betfair from 3s to 11/4, started slowly and finished a well beaten last. His getting an ouch at the first and third bends and the winner having a Stewards didn't help.
Race 11 Grade A3 Time 28.60 Bourne A Legend, supported by Mr Betfair from 4s to 7/2, finished fourth following a slow start and a first bend crowd. Miss Penelope, backed from 5/2 to 2s, by Mr Betfair and the Offices finished last. She failed to trap clear and was crowded back to last at the second following a crowd.
Race 12 Grade A3 Time 28.74 Jorjen Jak, 7/2 to 3s, and Dacent Alma, 9/2 to 7/2, both had Betfair support. The former missed the break before turning second behind a short running leader and took a winning lead on the run in. Alma missed the break and was slightly crowded at the start. Further crowding occurred at the first and fourth bends and she finished fifth.
Race 13 Grade A2 Time 28.43 Clodiagh Nuts, 5/2 to 7/4, failed to muster his best performance here and finished third. He turned in third place and failed to convince his supporters on the run to the third bend that he was going to win this. In fact he was forced to check at the third by a dog coming from behind him though to his credit he then stuck it out well to the line.

Last night, Jill has a three timer. Race 2 Grade A7 Time 28.84 Early money for Sandridge Lad at 7/2 was supplemented further and the dog went off at 2s. He does make it hard for himself with his poor starting and he did so again here where an ouch at traps didn't help. However once he found his stride down the back he improved from fourth place at the second to close on the leader at the third. To his supporter's chagrin the leader improved quite a bit and comfortably held on for victory from Lad. Race 3 Grade A9 Time 29.28 A drop in class for Villiers Baby, 3s to 9/4, failed to improve her fortunes. After appearing to check slightly at traps she was never competitive and finished fifth. Race 4 Grade A6 Time 29.16 Baltylum Jill, 3s to 9/4, had enough early to lead the bend despite a missed break. With her two nearest pursuers in lukewarm pursuit it was game over. Towerhill Joker, backed at 3s, moved off at the bend when handy and after a second bend crowd made no progress finishing last. Race 5 Grade A8 Time 29.46 Rock It Kathy, 3s to 9/4, made a very poor start and was back in last place at the second bend. She improved to finish fourth. Race 6 Grade A5 Time 29.01 Early money at 7/4 for Strike Bound but he went off at 9/4 after support for Grandad Ack, 9/4 to 6/4. The former raced into an early lead wirh the latter contesting second place from the second bend after missing the break. When Ack was crowded at the third Bound appeared to take a winning and clear lead until a strong finish from his rival saw his backers sweating at the line. Bound just held on. Race 7 Grade A1 Time 28.03 The race was marred by a serious injury to Monleek Rocking, 6/4 to 11/8, who broke down close to the first bend after appearing to be just taking the lead . Witton Tom, 3s to 11/4, used the rails to his advantage and led the bend before galloping on to victory. Play the Game, backed at 5s, faded from halfway following a poor start and finished a well beaten fifth. Race 9 Grade A5 Time 28.63 Now this is a bit more like it! Four market movers ... on a Friday night! Redley Riot, backed at 4s trapped in front and made all. Parsons Beauty was enthusiastically supported from 2s to evens. She missed the break, turned in third place, made progress on the leader to the third but was not finding much on the run to the line. Beauty would have gone off at a clear odds on but for late support for Shut Up Monkey, backed at 4s, who ran on from fifth at the second bend following her usual slow start to finish third just 1/2L behind Beauty. Clonteen Cookie, 7s to 5s, also started slowly and never showed finishing fifth. Race 10 Grade S2 Time 36.34 Glideaway Hi, 9/2 to 7/2,led the bend and had a winning lead by the third bend. He didn't appear to run as wide here though how you train a dog to do that only the Great Thomsoni knows . Swift Leah, 4s to 11/4, found herself back in last place following a first bend crowd but then ran on well to finish second. Swift Bombay, 5/2 to 2s, missed the break, turned in fourth place and stayed there to the line. Race 11 Grade A2 Time 28.47 Woodsgift Timmy, 4s to 7/4, led the bend following a slow start largely due to an impressive display of early but from the second bend the eventual winner was a threatening second and the latter made good the threat when leading at the last bend. Timmy finished third. Race 12 Grade A3 Time 28.36 Pottery Problem was downgraded to A3 here, a grade he has never been required to run in before. Backed from 5/4 to evens he got out fairly handy to the early leader and led off the second bend.

Tonight, drizzly. Big John has a three timer. Race 2 Grade A8 Time 29.10 Has Precious ever mentioned the losing run of Talk Now? Well! Supported yet again from 9/4 to 7/4 this time, the bitch...yes the bitch , increased the run by one. She had no excuse after leading the bend and was passed by the winner at the third bend with some ease before finishing second. Race 3 Grade A7 Time 29.10 An astonishing turn of events followed this race! . Tyrur Stosur, backed at 7/4, showed excellent early to quickly lead pursued by her kennel chum Kersal Mason, 3s to 5/4. She was around three lengths to the good at halfway but as usual she ran out of steam close to the line where she was passed by Mason before finishing second. Precious understands that the winner was locked up . By the Stewards' own calculations Mason improved all of TWO lengths on his, the dog's best previous time and the runner up ran just 10 spots slower than she has ever done. A Trainer has two dogs in the race and they finish first and second with just half a length between them and there's a Stewards . Come along Capitano Roberto, define 'integrity' in the context of preparing two dogs for a race please. Race 5 Grade A6 Time 29.02 Farran Blanc, 6/4 to 5/4, made hard work of this by running very wide at the second bend after leading at the first. The bitch, absolutely , showed the best pace to lead at the third but was all out to hold the late challenge of the runner up. Thornfield Julio, 4s to 7/2, took advantage of Blanc's slip to lead at the second bend until near the third at which point he was losing his place at a fair rate. A slight third bend crowd didn't help and he finished last. Race 6 Grade A3 Time 28.54 Jogan Di, backed at 7/2, showed excellent early foot to lead at the second and won nicely. Little Gossip, 3s to 11/4, again failed to cope with A3 company and finished fourth having had every chance. Whipidewhip, who has yet to win in the black sheet over the standard distance, made a slow start and finished last after being backed from 5s to 4s. Race 7 Grade A3 Time 28.71 Rushmoor Danny, 9/4 to 7/4, finished fourth. He turned in second place but the winner went past him at the third bend and he had no answer finishing fourth. Race 8 Grade A5 Time 28.83 Redstone Borvo, 7/2 to 9/4, won this with some ease after leading the bend. Race 9 Grade A5 Time 28.66 Late money for Late Whiskey, 7/2 to 3s, who ran well and won this race convincingly. He turned in second place before showing nice middle pace to lead at the third bend and race clear. Race 9 Grade A4 Time 28.89 Kappie, 9/4 to 7/4, trapped best but near the first bend found the eventual winner bearing down on her outer and after a bump at the bend she was finished off with a secondary ouch. She finished fifth. Swords Tosh, 7s to 6s, missed the first bend aggro after a slow start and turned a handy third. He finished third. Race 11 Grade S1 Time 36.39 Low Wood Gift, 7/4 to 5/4, finished a close second after crowd at the first and third bends at which point he was back in fourth place. However had the leader not appeared to go lame when in command between bends five and six its extremely likely that said dog would have been a decisive winner. Race 12 Grade A2 Time 28.66 Westpoint Barney, 3s to 11/4, led from the first bend to the run in and finished third.

Today, BAGS. Heavy going. All market movers were Betfair inspired.
Race 1 Grade A4 Time 29.47 Brown Chalk, 5/2 to 9/4, turned fourth following a slow start and ran on well to lead close to the line from Impact Lass, 2s to 7/4, who had turned second. Lass ran well, as did the winner, to get past the leader and finish second.
Race 3 Grade A5 Time 29.74 A far from impressive performance from Barbican Bullet, 7/4 to 6/4, who won through finding himself in the perfect position at the corner after showing early pace. His two main rivals were on his outside and he used his advantage to good effect to take a lead between bends one and two. He looked slightly vulnerable down the back until benefitting from his closest rivals crowding at the third. He was left with a good advantage which dwindled on the run in as he appeared to loiter about though he seemed to have his wits about him when the runner up closed.
Race 6 Grade A5 Time 29.72 Made of Rain, 4s to 3s, was last at the second bend following a buffeting on the run up and at the first. She improved to finish third.
Race 7 Grade A9 Time 29.64 X certificate stuff for supporters of Jayjay Again, 9/2 to 4s, who saw their selection demolished by a dog whose performance had 'Stewards Enquiry' written all over it. Jayjay finished a one paced fourth.
Race 8 Grade A2 Time 29.11 Bowtime Jack, 7/2 to 9/4, ran well but came up against a rival who ran even better giving Jack a start but leading him at the bend. Jack turned second and ran on for runner up spot.
Race 10 Grade A6 Time 29.63 Darver Roy, 2s to 7/4, trapped with the winner and showed the better early but could lead only as far as the second bend from which point he failed to show either pluck or pace and finished a well beaten fourth.
Race 11 Grade A3 Time 29.30 In terms of his recent performances Jack of Diamonds has been a bit below par. However, backed here from 3s to 2s, he was able to lead at the second bend after enjoying a solo round the first two bends until he was passed at halfway by the strong running winner. Jack's failed attempt to keep up with said dog was not aided by his rather wide running style. Having lost a place round the last two bends he stayed on to just snatch second place on the line.

barbican bullet has been found to be lame.its doubtful he will run again. I'm sorry to hear that, benny. The dog looked last time as though he was starting to settle down and find his form.
