San Miguel amigo was beaten by IMO best hurdler in country at the current moment Agree bighobbs. Amigo held his ground well with a superb run to the first bend and was still in it till what looked like a higher jump at the 4th hurdle and lost his stride going into the 4th bend. Gutsy performance from Amigo well done, exciting prospect. |

Amigo held his ground well with a superb run to the first bend and was still in it till what looked like a higher jump at the 4th hurdle and lost his stride going into the 4th bend. Gutsy performance from Amigo well done, exciting prospect. agreed and fair judgement in my eyes and if Paul is willing to keep going back on Sundays for both his dogs they may pick up minor events sooner rather than later |

San Miguel amigo was beaten by IMO best hurdler in country at the current moment Thank you for that kind comment - as I said to Amigo's connections at Coventry we are 99% certain to be resting Meteor next week and after that quality of run from a novice hurdler on a strange track tonight I don't think you need to look far to find next Sunday's hurdle winner...  |

Just got back from my first visit to Coventry and enjoyed it,apart from legacy falling asleep in the traps again..just when you think you've turned a corner with the trapping.
Must say San Miguel ran a blinder,to get so close to the winner in only his fourth ever race over hurdles is a great effort.
Also Bourne supremacy trialed tonight,we booked him a 450m solo but they put him in with another dog over 485(holdem rumble),he went superbly well up to about 460 metres and then ground to a halt and was beaten by 3lth.
So 450 would be ideal for him,we'll try and get em both in the open next time.
