wonder why Belle Vue have not included a 6 bend race in this competition as it seems all the others have, surely they could have found 6 stayers.
THAT WOULD DO WELL OVER THE 630M AT MONMORE ON FINALS DAY GOOD FRIDAY.
IN MY OPINION THE 590M TRIP AT BELLE VUE IS NOT A TRUE SIX-BENDS AND BECAUSE BELLE VUE DON'T
RUN REGULAR RACES OVER THE 670M THEN I CAN SEE WHY THE BELLE VUE RACING OFFICE TEAM
HAVE OPTED OUT ON A SIX-BENDS QUALIFYER..

Six decent races this Wednesday afternoon at the ZOO
Plenty of prize-money up for grabs for those connections lucky enough to have
had there greyhounds chosen to take part.
Best of luck to the 6 greyhounds that go on to run on Good Friday down in the Black Country.

What is this likely to mean then for the BV Reps? Being as we would need to have 6 reps in the finals, would this mean that we will have 2 dogs and 2 bitches for the standard 4 bender races (1 in each race) plus 2 @ 260 sprint? If not - how are we going to fit the 6 representatives in? |

'manseefan' on Good Friday at Monmore there are a load of finals over various distances..
NO track will have more than one rep in each final..
Each of the 16 races on Finals Day are worth £2,000 in prize money, with £1,000 to the winner.
Points will be awarded in each race for the first three home – with 5 going to the winner, 3 for second and 1 point for third.
The winning team will receive £6,000 to be shared among the trainers, with an additional £10,000 to be paid out in prize money at the track.
Second prize is £3,000, with £6,000 in track prize money, with the team finishing third receiving £1,000 and £4,000 in prize money for their track.

The Belle Vue Ast Racing Manager's view DAVE BRAYSHAW answers the questions:You know the runners inside out - who are the class acts in the heats?The class acts in our heats are most notable bitches Monagea Lodge, who has been in terrific form this year and Cruising Belle, who despite still being a pup, has established herself as amongst the best graders at the track. Consistent, reliable Devious Rumble in the 5.03 and Lively Karina, who has sensational early, are also greyhounds with real class. And, in your opinion, are there any unexposed types that could improve?Two we may not yet have seen the best from are Rathmore Star, who has not had much luck so far and Isla Breeze, who I can’t believe is a double figure price. She may want six bends in time, but has terrific finishing power and is still rapidly improving. Best chance of making all?Cruising Belle in a race where it’s hard to see what will even turn second. And one to come from off the pace?Rathmore Star, who just needs to avoid crowding around the first two bends.
