Who chooses the winner?

The award is given out by the Belle Vue Racing Office 'blueyhills'

It makes no differance what grade a greyhound is be A1 or A9 Stayer or even a hurdler.

It all comes down to what the Belle Vue Racing Team thinks in there eyes/opinion which greyhound
each month deserves reconition.

He ran better or shall i put it more consistant in december than he did in janurary ?

He overcame a 2 grade hike on the 2nd of Jan to win very well. The award is only for one performance and that was it.

This is one of those things that you could argue all day about,Im sure there are half a dozen or more each month that think they should win the award.
In january one of our pups did 27-83 which is a very good run,but as Ainsley pointed out Chesters hawkeye overcame a 2 grade rise with a very good performance of his own..and as I said im sure there are others who thought they had a shout.
When you think about it,its sometimes a difficult decision to make and I wouldnt like the job of picking the winner because you cant suit everybody.
