A lot of members have requested the trial booking sheets in the past to no avail, moving forward though, I would have hoped that we could some time in the future, see recordings of races involving our respective dogs, maybe the individual races could be set up as pay to view or something along those lines, (once again another possible money earner for the GRA that they never seem to explore) I would definitely like to keep a library of any of my dogs runs and I think many other owners would too.
Anyway thats my first thoughts JR, hope its helpful

Agree with the recordings idea. Each time my dog wins I buy the meet DVD for £5 from the racing office.
If we could get individual races, I may be tempted to get them all.

I didn't until someone told me. Doesn't seem to be advertised. I usually do it through reception. Still waiting to collect one from the 8th Feb when Jill last won.

I thought BV had stoped supplying dvds andonly the chosen few could get them, this i think was due to and I could be wrong gambles being pulled off, prob the racing office not wanting to upset the bags contract,,

Back to the subject of the advanced trial sheets, I have been keen to see the trial results for today (Thursday) and they are still not posted again, I am aware that it is down to the racing office and not the moderators but is there some technical reason they can't be released at the specified time?. If the results are not being produced until Friday mornings then they need to say, it may stop me logging in and out every half an hour expecting them to be posted.
Gripe over!!!!

'IF' THE TRIAL RESULTS ARE NOT SENT OUT BEFORE 5pm BY THE BV RO ON A THURSDAY NIGHT, THEN IT'S FAIR TO SAY WE WON'T GET THEM UNTIL THE FOLLOWING DAY.
ALSO REGARDING TRIAL RESULTS FOR BEFORE RACING ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY EVENINGS IF THEY ARE NOT SENT OUT BY
23:15 ON THE NIGHT IN QUESTION THEY ALSO WILL NOT BE GET TO US BEFORE THE FOLLOWING DAY..

The DVD's for Evening meetings have always been available (after being re-instated) following the hoo haa about illegal recording and sales of home made videos - when most will remember - the actual online stream was halted for a period, to investigate and stop this practice of selling recordings on pirate dvd's. There is a standard form at reception, and if you fill this in, you will eventually get your dvd! I say eventually - because occasionally you may have to wait some considerable time for someone to be available to process them for the RO. I have offered to help, volunteered my services to help out with these - the offer still stands!  |
