Whats happened to the drag racing? I got my summer collection ready... Some of our BAGS fixtures are like Drag Racing these days! I heard a chap the other day comparing the Belle Vue racing surface with the likes of 'A MAGIC CARPET'  |

OLDHAM.an overcoat colder than the north pole in winter.straw going.but not as many injuries as sand.traps got at dogs got at.racing manager got at.pughie drugging everything,not just the dogs.burglers breaking in .then breaking the scales so dogs couldnt be weighed.[TRUE]billerickydickie.now thers a name.our very own blueyhills dog.could go on for hours.happy times.sadly gone for ever.

My original post stated trap 2 dogs that had been backed, not just any trap 2.
Been told that wilburs mate jimmy walmsley may have a lever behind his satchel that he pulls and the 2 traps mat moves.
John the drag situation is still up in the air as there was a bit of a neighbourhood issue but owner of land is hoping to resolve.
Wilbur you might be right about me not knowing much about greyhounds but just remember who smacked your arse the last time we had a tipster challenge (i`ll bring the sudocreme friday)!!
Benny, Billericky dicky was named after an ian dury record but could you tell me who Humphrey rissole...Humphrey rice...Earwigo onmehonda to name but a few were named after?

Tony I have had chance today to look back and you have a valid point concerning greyhounds that have been well supported in the betting ring wearing the blue-jacket getting turn over.

as i remember.
humphrey rissole was originaley named areshole but wasnt allowed.so rissole was settled upon.
rice was named after a pal bryan rice whos claim to fame was he knocked out richard dunne as an ameteur.he was a character.he dressed exactly like the dick emery bovver boy.still does and hes seventy odd.
onme honda was a kennel hand who came to work on his honda.
part of the fun flapping was the naming of dogs.shy tot.toff.etc etc.wrinkled willy.and hoof hearted were a couple of my remembered favorites.
