2250 i would want an open race dog for that I think your a little out of touch 'cartwright45'
£2,250 does not guarantee you an open racer these days..

it sort of puts into perspective the views you give on other dogs.

Unfortunately people are very quick on this forum regardless of the topic to put conflicting and negative posts up to provoke a reaction ! The dog in question was never up for sale, I seen it running and made the owner an offer who is a friend, because I didn't think the dog was running to its true potential at the track it was at ! We agreed a figure and then I offered the dog out for syndication, because I believe it is getting harder every day to own greyhounds as an individual ! People are lucky and come across bargains and at the same time people pay over the odds for greyhounds ! All 5 of us are content with how much we have had to pay, and this is before the dog has a run around belle vue ! The £450 could involve transport, name change, and the first 2 months kennel bills for all anybody outside the syndicate knows and that is the million dollar statement !! Only the 5 man syndicate members will ever know ! Thanks for all your well wishes and thanks for the negative comment, without you i wouldn't have come up with this brilliant post. Good luck and may all your greyhounds stay injury free and have a happy retirement from the racing track.

Looking forward to following your new greyhound when it starts it's qualifying trials at Belle Vue.
Have you come up with what your new syndicate is going to be called yet.

2,500 gets you an a2-a1 dog and if it makes minor open class yor a lucky person bargains are few and far between in this game

Good luck to all concerned. Will be interesting following the dogs progress.
From reading your other posts Forzagarton, I think you know what your hoping to get and if it turns out to be better than expected, it'll be a bonus.
