David Pruhs: sent out a memorable National Sprint final forecastUnbeaten Scolari Sound leads home a Pruhs 1-2 By Jonathan Kay of the Racing Post SCOLARI SOUND was quite brilliant as he completed an unbeaten run through the Stadium Bookmakers National Sprint with victory in the £3,000 final over 305m at Nottingham on Monday. Leading home a memorable one-two for trainer David Pruhs, the odds-on favourite showed all was well after his tumble at the pick-up following semi-final victory as he made a good start from one and had the race won in a matter of strides. Kennelmate Laughing Gravy turned second but could make little or no impression on the March 2014 puppy winner who scored by three and a half lengths in 17.56sec with outsider Flashing Bolt claiming third. It was an eighth win in ten two-bend starts for Scolari Sound who, with the Peterborough Sprint title already in safe-keeping, has surely made himself a leading contender for Sprinter of the Year honours. Pruhs had earlier initiated a double when Haydeezhero took a supporting sprint open in 17.86sec, while there were odds-on victories for Charlie Lister’s Tyrur Supermac and Colin Redden’s Elwick Glory as the duo followed up recent Belle Vue successes.

I've been informed FLASHING BOLT has now been retired from racing due to a wrist problem.
Well what can you say about THE BOLT..
In my opinion he's been a fantastic servant for his very sporting owners 'THEN THERE WERE FIVE SYNDICATE'
Team 'Walton' have done a great job with him during his racing career...
GOOD LUCK IN YOUR RETIREMENT 'BOLT'

It will certainly be a sad day for me when he goes, apart from his brilliant achievements on the track, the finals he's got too and the top dogs he's always ran against, away from the track he is genuinely the most loving and loyal dog and have no doubt he will make someone a fantastic pet. Sparkey is the dog that has kept me going in this game when it has knocked me down and not gunna lie there may be tears. Good luck the bolt!
