Norma, Lassa hasn't got over her injury and, after speaking to June, a decision has been made to retire her. June has spoken to The Merseyside and Cheshire Retired Greyhound Trust and has been able to gain a vacancy at their kennel. I'm taking Lassa to Rose Cottage on Tuesday and I'm positive the first person who sees Lassa will be taking her home. A big thank you to June and her team for looking after Lassa., Lassa is a great bitch but we didn't want to run her and risk a tragic injury.

Dropped Lassa off at Rose Cottage Kennel's this morning. Lassa is now in good hands. Feel confident she will find a good home. A big relief off my mind.

Beanster, Great set up at The Merseyside and North Cheshire branch of the RGT. Graham, who runs the branch, is a decent bloke and he's very consciousness. He has a band of volunteers who help out at the kennel. He told me they rehoused 15 greyhounds last month. June did all the negotiations and I purely acted as the driver. I'll keep you updated.
