After hitting the bar a few times in her open races, Chas must have run well to beat a top class A1 field. Fancied the six dog myself but Chas seems to have won on merit. Well done to connections.

At this time trainer John Walton has BALLYMAC CHAS racing at the top of her game.

Last night's victory at the ZOO was no fluke that brilliant fastest-time-of-the-night [27.73sec] run was expected and in truth has been on the cards for weeks.

A couple of runs back she recorded the fastest sectional over 480m for 18 months at Owlerton

Her record is fantastic when you look back at her form

At present it stands at 44 races 13 wins and 13 seconds and 8 thirds.

She's a wonderful bitch to own and myself and John Lamb are over the moon with her.

Fastest Sectional that I know of in the last eighteen months for Sheffield's 480m and the equivalent of a 4.20 at Belle Vue where her best is a 4.21. The going adjusted 28.06 is the equivalent of a 27.86 at BV as compared to her 27.89 best. Going calls never precise but JW has clearly got her back to her very best. CHESTER
