All the inside 3 dogs trapped well but the 3 dog had sprinters pace to the bend as soon as his feet touched the sand he showed it what you have got to remember Craig is that your fella has good ep against 4 bend dogs and from what I seen at Bellevue last week he has the heart of a lion and finds more when challenged it's hard taking on these open sprinters at Notts you have to be doing under or around 18.00 really to win a decent open on there if your dog ran a track like Sunderland he would do a right run on there and maybe the short 4 bends at monomer too but in saying that pal he is doing very well at the zoo over 470 too how far would the dog stay maybe the 480 Sheffield may suite him pal like I say this is just my opinion maybe I'm wrong as I don't know the dog like you or joy but I personally wouldn't be taking on these sprinters with so much early pace good luck in whatever you decide pal he is a credit to you.

Yeah I don't think he's a sprinter, think 470m is his perfect trip hence why I moved him from Romford to BV. Joy entered him at Perry Barr as it was a maiden sprint. Sheffield there wasn't really a suitable race for him. Same at Notts other night but that being said I thought he ran decent @ Notts. The 305m more suited than the 260m at BV. To do 17.97 first look is a steady run. (The winner went 2L quicker than Laughing Gravy and that pinged as well).
It's hard work finding a place with suitable races for Flamboyant & Jet tbh. Ideal scenario would be a track puts on a Maiden 4bends and a decent 4bend race.
End of the day he ain't going to pull up loads of trees on Open Scene he's a very good A1 dog poss win a minor open. Good thing is there's a few opens coming up at BV

Jet went Lame during his race sunday. He'll be back in 6-8 weeks.

Jet been off 5 weeks now (since last trial) hopefully trialing back Next weekend. Been a long 12weeks or so not having him on cards. Hoping he can find some of his old form and stay sound  |
