Papers have gone off so hopefully soon I will be able to update you with their official names. All are growing well even little Eddie who suffered terribly from a stomach bug they all had a couple of months ago- it was touch and go. They have all been to the track twice for their injections and Eddie was a particular hit both times as he really loves people and the feeling seems to be mutual! Jenny is really enjoying retirement patrolling the 'estate' with the small group of retireds know as the 'yardys' along with the proper guard dogs. Never realised how cuddly she was till she switched off from racing - she's always up for a fuss to the point that you can't get anything done

Jenny's brood had their first official sprint trials yesterday, having schooled at Belle Vue over the last three months. Out of the original 11 we still have 8,2 of the bitches didn't want to chase so have been found wonderful homes and the 11th Blythe Duchess who Taylor owns is on her way to Monmore with team Thompson. We couldn't be happier π

Update two of the kids broke 16 seconds in their sprints today, not bad for 15 month old pups second time out of the traps:Blythe Swift 16.12 and Miranda 16.04 with a -20 going allowance it took them under 16π a couple of the boys once out of the traps ran like demons. It looks as if they are taking after Jenny as they appear to rail. Would also like to mention Maybe Kitty's litter that has schooled with ours and now trialing along side are doing just as well - think both sets of trainers and helpers have really enjoyed being in this 'journey' together each week. Here's to 2018 when they all grade and begin their careers at the Zooπ

It gives me great please to announce the arrival of 12 little phenominans Jenny has produced 7 girls and 5 boys a mix of black and dark brindles all are doing well After16 months of growing and hard work we are pleased to announce 6 of the pups have now graded at the Zoo, 2 make their debuts on Saturday in the second race A8 - where Jenny herself began her career of 114 races eventually reaching A1. Good luck to Miranda and (Blythe)Swift come home safe girls. Hope to see (Nidderdale) Chase, Eddie (Sir Edmund),Conny (Constance) and (Blythe) Wally on the card in the next two week. Don't think it will be too long before they are joined by Ernie (Honourable Ernest) and (Blythe) Swallow. Two of the brindle girls didn't Chase so were rehomed to two fantastic homes - one is with Jill's ex-racer Smiling Darragh. Blythe Dutchess unfornutely injured her shoulder in the rearing paddock, which heeled well and she schooled along with the rest of the litter. She began trialling at the Zoo, but moved with her owner Taylor when team Thompson went to Monmore - I received a sad message from Taylor last week to say she had to retire Titch, I have no doubt that she will be sitting on Taylor's settle as we speak. The twelfth pup unfortunately passed away at two days old. ps. My profile picture at the moment is Miranda π

Thank you, they have already made some good memories. Its all about the 'what ifs' with a home breed litters, choosing the sire is fun-Jill looks at breeding, me I look at colour (then breeding) in the hope of a 'rainbow litter'! ... and afterall us ladies always love puppiesπ
