Without doubt the new Doncaster Stadium Racing Manager Mick Smith is doing a great job on his return to the Yorkshire venue.
The racing strength is on the up and he seems to have no trouble what so ever in attracting new trainers to the track.
Good Luck to Mick and his team in the coming months ahead.

WELL. there's 40 at Kinsley and a lot less I would think at Donny.but a lot of the Doncaster ones have bigger strengths. but the greyhound game has disappeared if you want to get a good income from greyhounds.its a thing of the past. will it come back not in the short term. near everyone is buying dogs for as much as they can afford and as I said a couple of years ago, prices have gone through the roof. however, things have a run then they return to normal.but prizemoney needs to go up sharply in some spots.there are massive increases in costs to owners. and if these costs are not controlled it will be trouble everywhere. the gbgb think think that they will control the growth but that will have an adverse effect.and in time the 6 tracks they envisage may be only a couple.and flapping could/will make a bigger return.overseas its easier from all angles because they wont.dont have the stigma of the controlling gbgb. this is only my opinion.
