The performance of the night race 11 on Saturday 20th July.
The Beverly Heaton trained BALLYMAC AMBROSE ran a fantastic race and in doing so recorded a rapid 27.66sec {+10}
Showing good early once on the bunny he was never going to be picked up.
When 'AMBROSE' first arrived at the ZOO he took a while to settle in, but he is in tip top form now.
Here's hoping he now continues in the same vein...

well.in the past, some have condemned the 40%.with ambrose Kevin gill has enjoyed a decent dog .it didn't cost anywhere near some of the dogs its beat. and long may it continue. this is proof that this scheme works. and thanks to Kevin for believing in Bev, even when you had setbacks in the early days.

AS IS KNOWN i always bang on about 40% and its advantages. TODAY it has been accorded the ultimate accolade IT IS UNGRADEABLE AT BV AND WE ARE REQUESTED TO SEEK RACES ELSWHERE only temporary .until dogs such as vatican saab etc,run at bv again. BOTH kevin gill and myself dont want to go open racing.nor does bev we are home birds.so its a bit of a myther.
it will sort its self out soon enough,hopefully. we have had some decent dogs on the 40% yet its still hard to convince people that this scheme can be the ultimate or it can be just a grader.however as it has 40%of its FULL PRICE with no kennel costs.its wonderful value for whats involved. so next time you are aquiring a dog for bv keep us in mind. bev now does train other dogs prorata charges no freebies unless 40%.

It's about time Belle Vue Stadium advertised some minor open races..
This way no graded greyhound on the strength could be classed as being to good to race at the track.
