Well, young Pat has now had 4 races at the zoo and won the latest in good style. Been learning in every appearance and even though she found trouble in three out of four of them (was chased down in the other!) in my opinion she continues to run gamely and try her very best. She did her best run last week when winning and getting side swiped at the first bend and you just get a feeling that one day she will get on the bunny and do a real run. In the meantime we are happy that she is learning all the time and for a May 18 puppy that is all we can ask. She could still be anything and we are excited to see what the coming months will bring with her. Again, another good investment from the 40% scheme and thanks again to all that take care of her.
We have been so fortunate to have Pat, Mark and Fairy from the scheme and couldn't ask for more - they have all given us so much enjoyment and all we really ask is safe and sound every time they run.

Great run by Pat last Wednesday, only getting beat a neck but recording her fastest time to date of 28.77. Still learning the game and she hopefully has a long career ahead of her - still excited to see where it will bring her! Safe and sound always Pat

Another troubled run for Pat last night after missing her break - but kept on gamely to make up a lot of ground. Still learning the game and weβre still excited to see how she goes. Safe and sound always Pat π

Another decent run from Pat again today after missing her break and trying to get a run on the inside at the third bend. Still shows her signs of greenness but she will learn and at her age there is no rush. Safe and sound always Pat!

Another troubled run for Pat today, being completely wiped out around the first two bends. She is still learning the game at the moment and I honestly don't think she knows how she wants to run or where she wants to run yet. Plenty of time though and she will get there in the end, as long as she comes off safe and sound whilst learning.

First race back after a three month lameness break for Pat this Saturday. Impressed with her trial, but always a different story in race conditions - the main thing is she eases herself back in to the swing of things, carries on learning and stays safe and sound ππ»
