ON OUR PART TODAY we have had a visit from the gbgb rep.pete rosney. I often read that there is a lot of detrimental posts about him. well I can firmly say today .he tried to help us in a load of ways. and succeded. HE WAS MOST HELPFUL and some will say he was only doing his job.he overdid his job today.and for that we say thank you.

saying something nice is always better than saying anything ,I suppose. well I have deliberately not posted much as I have nothing advantageous to reveal. we are still on the hunt for a track to race at. a lot of our dogs have been agreed to sell.and some good ones gone.we are in discussions with plenty. however, we don't mind losing a bit but some want us to fund them. any we do sell we wish them well. Tess is one I think will do well when she goes.shes still a pup 22 months already won an a2 and much cheaper than I paid. having said that she is going to a track that could suit her better.bv for me is a stiffish 470..and talking to Pete rosney he told me bv a2s are as good as anywhere. so on we go.we/i still have dogs in Ireland paid for but not yet ready.about 10 dogs here s .some awaiting trialling. the 40s on hold , but if your interested please ask.thats when we get a track.to run on. also, any of those who are on the 40% we are mindful of you all. are trying to find somewhere to run. and we do have some things to look out for but are unable to assure anyone anything at this moment.so chins up and carry on.

commenting on the thread of dolcino. I certainly don't have to explain but I shall. when I buy these pups they are not the cheapest .that I know/ but untried apart from the schooling. the cost price is determined , before anyone knows there ability. when bought. then you can see them trial.if you think they will make it ,then you can get a share at 40%so if its £1000 its £400.then we race it in the named syndicate generally we charge no kennel money ,and take the prizemoney as payment for services provided. however just lately this doesn't work.we lose cause prizemoney is very low. you can of course opt for receiving 40%of prizemoney.and that's no problem. when the animal finishes its racing career we home your supposed to pay £50.but this seldom happens. there are a few more conditions but that can wait.so basically that's it ,you can race for a substantial bit less and be involved as much as you wish. it may help if you talk to one who is in the 40

HONESTLY. IT ISNT A PROBLEM if people are inquiring after dogs then that's a positive.not all the dogs we purchase are going to be a success. and dolcino is one of the many. that at the min hasn't turned out. it happens often.it also goes the other way and they turn out brilliant. but we also get some good ones. the latest has been ballymac ambrose. some say the best ever dog at bv.we could possibly get those type more often. but we don't spend enough.to secure these kinds of animals.but over the years some top dogs sneak through.and we have had them.at bargain prices. the price of dogs are getting to expensive to operate this way, so we shall have to be more aware of what we buy.but when they are young enough to bother with we don't make a final decision on them.so we sell shares cheap on the 40.this sometimes has a magical effect of settling them into a better grade, not always though.but I'm afraid its a game of chance. but we always have youngsters to look at,we have a good few that still need schooling ,but they are young so we can but wait .hope this answers some of your thoughts on these dogs.

we have had an interview.also offered a few trials. see how things go.but something will have to happen soon, because we cannot pay wages without income. anybody on the 40% can make me a REASONABLE offer for the rest of the dogs. private only please.then they can source a trainer and pass them on.
