Very poor last night, biggest crowd of the year, 1 tote booth in the whole of the downstairs, no tote or bar outside Token tote booths outside. Very poor advert for the track UNBELIEVABLE 'beanster'
YESTERDAY THE SUN CAME OUT ON WHAT WAS FORCASTED AS THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR, WHICH WAS BOUND TO ATTRACT A MASSIVE CROWD LAST NIGHT AT THE ZOO..
'VERY POOR ADVERT FOR THE TRACK' WELL THAT'S ONE WAY OF PUTTING IT.

Who ever the person is who promotes the stockcars bv want to sign them up.. it was buzzing this morning and that was just the gear being set up for the afternoon races, sweet stalls for kids food outlets [ coming from stoke] being set up plenty of razz a matazz..... Goldmine Just Waiting... Totally agree with you 'JC'
But not under the 'GRA' banner
Absolutely agree - the GRA have no interest in promoting greyhound racing or anything to do with it at Belle Vue. Let's hope if it all gets sorted we get new promoters who will bring the place back to how it should be and reap the benefits of their efforts!

Think we are all looking at how good the zoo could be with some investment and enthusiasm and foresight. Unfortunately the management have a different plan which judging by last night is going very well. The GRA and Feltham have made a fortune from the current course of action at previous stadiums , how much is enough ? It is obvious they think they will cash in somewhere along the line or they would have sold the lease to interested parties that could make the zoo a very profitable venue. Its all a bit of a stalemate at the moment, but at least we are still racing so its business as usual ?

WELL THEN HERE WE ARE ON THE FIRST DAY OF JULY 2019....
THE ZOO IS STILL UP AND RUNNING.
DESPITE WHAT THE DOOM AND GLOOM MERCHANTS {YOU NO WHO YOU ARE} WERE PREDICTING SOME 3/4 YEARS AGO.
COME ON BELLE VUE / GRA MANAGEMENT WHAT WE NEED NOW IS A POSITIVE STATEMENT SO WE CAN ALL MAKE PLANS FOR THE REST OF THIS YEAR.

when is the next planning meeting for bv expected to take place. I am not aware that any planning meetings concerning the future of Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium have ever taken place 'benny' never mind as you state above the next one?
In my opinion the best thing to do is just wait and see what happens when we reach that stage - 'IF' we ever do!
You have to bear in mind the track should have been well shut by now according to THE DOOM & GLOOMERS some 3 / 3 1/2 years ago...
