Real shame. Best trainers in the country for me. Massive loss to the game if they do retire fully.

THEY have had a wonderful career.perhaps the uncertanty of the greyhound game and the way its being managed, has proved a dissapointment.its things like recent happenings that people think theres no end to.things were much better managed under the NGRCor it seems.

ROXHOLME KRISTOF, who was trading as joint-favourite with sponsors Ladbrokes for Crayford's Golden Jacket, will not take his place in the competition after undergoing an operation.
Mark Keightley, husband of trainer Hayley, had warned the 3 Steps champion's participation in the 714m Category One annual was doubtful after sustaining a cut foot after his most recent trial, and confirmed those fears after the race closed on Tuesday.
"It was much worse that we first feared, it was more a laceration than a cut pad. Credit to vet Mike Gilliard who saw him at short notice and has done a great job," he said.
"He had to use the web between the toes to stitch around the wound, but has saved the toe and now he'll need resting up. It will be six weeks at least until we put any proper work into him."
