Thursday 13.8.20
ARC have been moving there fixtures and fittings from the ZOO over the last few weeks.
By all accounts everything that belongs to ARC has to be moved by the end of this month.
I'm told the gear has been moved to there 4 other greyhound stadiums.

With the latest rumours re Sunderland and Newcastle doing the rounds, a quick question ( apologies if itβs daft ) Other than the same issues ARC faced , what would stop SIS taking over any of the tracks ARC have given or may give up ? It would seal the deal for SIS ( if itβs not already ) and put 2 fingers up to ARC .

it would at least, give them a fight, but then would sis want , what can only be described as lame ducks.bv track would most certainly enhance their reputation.however would the price be too expensive for their accountants to sanction.

SATURDAY 22nd AUGUST 2020::
The Belle Vue Stadium is being stripped down of its usable assets by 'ARC' , which is fair enough , its still their show until Sunday 31st August so they are utilising what they can ..
By this time next week the stadium will be an empty shell.

Hi-Beanster, Not a daft question, but that is mainly down to circumstances not readilt clear to all unless you have been reading the good book! To Clarify - Newky and Sunderland are owned by ARC and would only change hands if sold by them, OR - used as a deal with SIS which hardly seems likely! The Media rights - BAGS meetings would of course (at this time) be retained by ARC as this is part of the "war", if you like , between both parties! Then - there is of course - Still outstanding issue of compensation/award between same parties, in ARC's favour, with an agreed settlement to be sorted! I am not wishing to appear to be condescending, by using above as a guideline, it would tend to suggest that we ignore rumor as being mischievous, with ARC still wishing to become top dog in greyhounds, no pun intended! There is a solid belief that SIS will have enough problems of their own regarding at least some of their own track contracts, towards year end! Both parties have been seriously impacted by CV - 19, as have many other companies! You will be aware of course that we, FOBVS have been invited to make a bid for BV, albeit with very short notice from Crown Oil notifying us, via MCC, of their willingness to sell! I am unable to make any comment on this at this stage other than to say that things appear to be grim due to there not being anyone over willing to commit during the CV - 19 problems! I would expect Simon to be making a statement sometime soon! I would of course like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere thanks for all of his sterling efforts on our behalf! Sorry I couldn't be more positive on BV, but hope that the explanation to your original question - helps clear things up for you! Al

could roy put some of the stuff up here and sell them off, he could cover his outlay and maybe a donation to the rgt, there was some nice greyhound and other memorabilia but hard to explain it without pointing it out, just a thought..ps thanks for all the input at the stadium roy and all the best, ditto to all the other loyal staff..
