Salford Red Devils have announced a new two-year partnership with British sportswear brand VX3, in a club record kit supply deal.
As part of the partnership, VX3 will takeover the club’s retail operations and will launch a bespoke online retail experience later this year.
Speaking about the new partnership, Commercial Director George Harborne stated: “I am delighted to welcome VX3 as our new kit supplier and retail partner on the back of an exceptionally competitive tender process.
“VX3 were a front runner in that process from our first conversation, and as we continued to progress discussions it became clear that they would be a great partner for the club.
“The partnership will see retail now include child and toddler kits from 2022, as well as women’s sizes across some of the range from this coming Dacia Magic Weekend, both of which were a priority for us to get right when securing a new partner.
“We are excited by the bespoke kit designs that the team have pulled together for 2022, and look forward to working with Ben and the rest of the team over the next 2 years to deliver some great merchandise for the fans.”
Ben Lovell, Director at VX3, added: “We are thrilled to be working with Salford Red Devils for the next 2 years, and on this year’s Magic Weekend kit.
“Early on in our discussions with George, we identified a number of areas that we felt we could enhance the retail offering and we look forward to developing and delivering on that over the next two years.
“Rugby league is an important sport to us, and we are pleased to add a Super League side in Salford Red Devils to our list of elite partners.”

SUNDAY 22-8-21::
** MATCH REPORT **Betfred Super League
Leigh (14) 32
Tries: Mellor, Brand, Hood, Sidlow Goals: Mullen 8
Salford (10) 22
Tries: Williams, Livett, Sio 2 Goals: Inu 3Leigh Centurions finally won a Super League game this season as they made easy work of beating an off-the-pace Salford Red Devils side.
Rhys Williams crossed for Salford early on, but tries by Joe Mellor and Keanan Brand pulled Leigh ahead.
Harvey Livett's score pulled Salford back, and Ken Sio went over after the break to help them regain the lead.
Three Craig Mullen goals sent Leigh back in front before Liam Hood and Adam Sidlow wrapped up a memorable win.
Victory for Leigh was their first in 17 attempts this season and is also their first win since defeating Halifax in March 2020.
Meanwhile, it was an afternoon to forget for Salford, whose errors cost them as they slipped to their 12th defeat of the Super League campaign.
The Red Devils had stormed into an early lead when Williams crashed over, but some wayward kicking from Krisnan Inu, combined with Leigh's swift response, meant the visitors quickly took control.
On the verge of half-time, Inu kicked a penalty goal to take him past 500 Super League points, however it was not enough to diminish what had been a stellar half for out-of-form Leigh, who led by four points heading into the break.
Leigh were awarded a place in Super League this season after Toronto Wolfpack were voted out by member clubs last year, but they have struggled during a nightmare campaign so far.
In the end, however, their 10-point win flattered a woeful Salford side, with Mullen's good work with the boot inspiring a well-earned victory.
Leigh Centurions interm head coach Kurt Haggerty:
"I'm happy, really pleased for the lads. Every week we've gone through adversity.
"I was disappointed we weren't further ahead at half-time. I believe in the players and what we've been doing in training.
"In the second half we were comfortable and we've got better every week. There was such resilience from us. We go to next week and try again."
Salford Red Devils boss Richard Marshall:
"We must congratulate Leigh on their efforts but I am bitterly, bitterly disappointed about the way we managed the game.
"They were always going to win a game this season and unfortunately it was against us.
""The Leigh crowd really got behind their team and I thought Joe Mellor led them around the pitch really well and put us in corners."
Leigh: Brand, Mullen, Thornley, Stone, Elliot, Bell, Mellor, Ashworth, Eaves, Sidlow, Hellewell, Foster, Gerrard.
Interchanges: Hood, Ioane, Gee, Butler.
Salford: Lolohea, Sio, Inu, Sarginson, Williams, Hingano, Brown, Johnson, Ackers, Ormondroyd, Livett, Greenwood, Addy.
Interchanges: Norman, Taylor, Lannon, Burke.
Referee: M Griffiths.

::THURSDAY 26th AUGUST 2021::
MATCH REPORT.....................Betfred Super League
Salford (6) 14 Tries: Livett, Sarginson, Escare Goals: Inu
Catalans Dragons (22) 42 Tries: Jullien 2, Goudemand, Kasiano, Davies, Chan, Langi Goals: Maloney 7Catalans Dragons moved a step closer to a first Super League Leaders' Shield with a comfortable victory at Salford.
Catalans forged a 16-0 lead with three tries from props, two for Benjamin Jullien then one for Mickael Goudemand, only for Salford to score just before the break through Harvey Livett.
But there was time for Sam Kasiano's try to restore the 16-point cushion.
And Dragons added three more after the break from Tom Davies, Joe Chan and Samisoni Langi in the dying seconds.
James Maloney kicked seven goals to complete their 17th win in 19 games, while Salford replied with second-half tries from Dan Sarginson and Morgan Escare.
But the hosts were left to rue the try Escare had chalked off for obstruction just after the break against his old club when Salford were down to 12 men after a yellow card for Michael McIlorum.
Dragons' first win at the AJ Bell Stadium since 2016 was sparked by Jullien's first-half double.
The first came in the 10th minute when he took a well-timed pass from Maloney.
He then got his second 14 minutes before half-time, picking up a loose Salford pass to race in from 40 metres.
Goudemand scored from close range by the posts before Danny Addy and Tui Lolohea combined well to send Livett over in the corner.
But Dragons forward Sam Kasiano hit a short ball at tremendous pace to thunder over to make it 22-6 at the break.
After Sarginson had won the race to ground the ball for the hosts' second try, McIlorum's high tackle on Ryan Lannon earned Salford a 10-minute man advantage.
But it was Catalans who instead extended their lead with a Maloney penalty, then winger Tom Davies scored their fifth try in the 57th minute.
Maloney converted brilliantly from the touchline before Sam Tomkins set up try number six for Chan.
Salford claimed their third try through former Catalans full-back Escare, although Kristian Inu failed with the conversion, before Langi's close-range try wrapped it up, with Maloney adding the extra two points.
Salford coach Richard Marshall:
"We responded really well to losing against Leigh. The 'team first' mentality was there even though the scoreboard suggests differently.
"It was one of our better attacking displays of the season, but defensively we got broken down through the middle too easily. We made great inroads with the ball.
"Catalans are a big physical team and they managed to get over the top of us. The scoreline suggests it was a bit of a toweling, but it was far from that."
Catalans boss Steve McNamara:
"Our leaders really stepped up. The likes of Sam Tomkins, Josh Drinkwater, James Maloney and Micky Mcllorum.
"They know when they need to step forward and I sensed that in the preparation. We had just two sessions before the game having got clearance on Monday to train on Tuesday.
"Obviously we are in a good position, but the likes of Saints and Warrington are running into form. We have just got to keep ticking the games off."
Salford: Escare; Sio, Inu, Sarginson, Williams; Lolohea, Atkin; Ormondroyd, Ackers, Johnson, Livett, Lannon, Burke.
Interchanges: Luckley, Roberts, Robson, Addy.
Catalans Dragons: S Tomkins; Davies, Laguerre, Langi, Yaha; Drinkwater, Maloney; Goudemand, McMeeken, Jullien, Dezaria, McIlorum, Bousquet.
Interchanges: Mourgue, Cozza, Chan, Kasiano.
Sin-bin: McIlorum (46)
Referee: Liam Moore.
