A MESSAGE TO OUR 2021 SEASON TICKET HOLDERS...
by Luke Wallworth | Feb 26, 2021
Following the full fixture list announcement for Super League 2021, the Club would like to address to you our plan going forward as we prepare for the likely return of fans to games.
With fans not expected to be allowed back into venues until May 17th, the first six Super League rounds will be behind-closed-doors (BCD) fixtures. Season ticket holders will be able to watch all Salford home and away BCD games via the Our League app and codes will be distributed in due course. All BCD fixtures will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
We understand that missing three home games is not ideal and we feel the need to thank you all for staying loyal, renewing your memberships and helping keep your club afloat during these extreme times. That’s why we will be offering all season ticket holders a free Dacia Magic Weekend ticket and for your name to be placed on a special edition shirt to be released ahead of the 2022 season.
Looking ahead to the likely return of fans and considering the limited capacity rule that the Government will be implementing, priority sequencing for restricted access games is as follows:
1. Season Ticket holders & Squad Builder members
2. Season Ticket holders only
3. Squad Builder members only
4. Open Ballot
We would love to have as many of our fans back in the stands as soon as possible and we hope that we can allow more of you in as and when COVID-19 restrictions lighten.
Now more than ever purchasing a season ticket will reap its rewards, as not only will you be bumped up the priority list for access to games, but you will also be entered into a draw for a “money can’t buy” experience, every time we hit a milestone in our season ticket sales.
There will be 13 draws with 13 fantastic rewards on offer every time a milestone is met.
The reward for each milestone in order is shown below:
1. Matchball sponsorship for Hull FC game
2. Home director seat for 2 for Leigh Centurions BCD fixture
3. Home director seat for 2 for Castleford Tigers BCD fixture
4. Match worn shirt presented by player post game*
5. Box for you and four friends for home game against Wigan*
6. Away day as a director for two*
7. Inside Salford – a day with the media team*
8. Lunch with the players in the Players’ Lounge*
9. Place in 2022 team photo in training kit that you can keep*
10. Home visit Q&A with head coach and players*
11. Preseason training session with team for a community club/school of your choice*
12. Travel and accommodation for two for Catalans Dragons away 2022
13. Free weekend at Salford’s next major final appearance
*subject to COVID-19 restrictions and measurements being in place
There will be several other rewards and opportunities throughout the season for you to be involved in, so make sure you purchase a season ticket to stay in the loop!
Again, Salford Red Devils would like to thank you for your continued support in what has been a challenging year for everyone. We wanted to show that your loyalty to the Club is extremely appreciated and we hope to see as many of you in the stands as soon as it is safe.

...New Salford signing suffers long-term injury... He has yet to make an appearance for the Salford Red Devils, but winger Joe Burgess it set to miss the start of the season.
Having signed from Wigan during the off-season, Burgess suffered an ankle injury during a routine training exercise which could need an operation and a further three-month period on the sidelines.
Burgess scored 55 tries in 72 games for Wigan after returning to his hometown club following a spell in the NRL and was expecting to take one of two of Salford’s wing spots in the 2021 campaign.
Greg Burke also remains a concern for new head coach Richard Marshall after undergoing a knee operation. The prop forward is expected to miss the season opener against Marshall’s former side St Helens.
