...MansionBet Announces Greyhound Sponsorship With ARC... Thursday 11th February 2021 www.arenaracingcompany.co.uk/media-centre/news/greyhounds/mansionbet-announces-greyhound-sponsorship-with-arc
Online sports betting operator, MansionBet, have today announced their partnership with Arena Racing Company (βARCβ), which will see their brand used exclusively at over 800 greyhound meetings in 2021.
The MansionBet branding will be displayed across all four ARC greyhound tracks, commencing with Newcastleβs meeting this evening on Sky Sports Racing, and continuing throughout 2021 at Newcastle, Sunderland, Perry Barr and Nottingham.
The sportsbook, which has focused heavily on increasing brand awareness through their horse racing sponsorships since 2019, today extends this relationship with ARC even further.
Dana Bocker, Head of Integrated Marketing, commented: βHaving invested a lot of resource into radically improving our greyhound offering in 2020, and becoming a contributor to the British Greyhound Racing Fund, the decision to sponsor tracks across the UK is a natural step forward that will allow us to engage with an audience of one of our most popular markets. We look forward to engaging with our customers whilst supporting the sport through our sponsorships.β
David Leyden Dunbar, ARCβs Group Director of Partnerships, said: βWe have enjoyed a strong relationship with MansionBet, with their brand seen prominently across a number of our racecourses since 2019 and are delighted to welcome them into our greyhound stadia for the first time. With live greyhound racing broadcast every evening on Sky Sports Racing, including from Newcastle and Nottingham, we hope that it will further enhance their brand recognition with greyhound racing fans.β
Rachel Corden, ARCβs Greyhound Operations Director, added: βWe are very grateful to MansionBet for their support of our four stadia and really look forward to seeing their branding broadcast from Newcastle this evening and onwards. Their investment in their own greyhound offering and their support of the sport at this difficult time is much appreciated.β

...ARC Confirms Perry Barr Fixture Movements... Friday 12th February 2021 Due to the requirement of a number of key staff to isolate through the NHS track and trace system, Perry Barr will not be able to host upcoming scheduled greyhound meetings from Saturday 13 February, for a week.
Alternative fixtures have been scheduled as follows, and Perry Barr will revert to its scheduled fixture list from Saturday 20 February.
Saturday 13 February Morning No Replacement Monday 15 February Morning Sunderland Wednesday 17 February Morning Kinsley Thursday 18 February Evening Swindon* * The current digital only Swindon fixture will now be broadcast on TRP.
ARC Greyhounds Operations Director, Rachel Corden, said, βWith a number of key members of staff, as well as some trainers, being required to isolate as per NHS guidance, we have taken the decision to move Perry Barrβs fixtures over the coming week to alternative tracks. We are in touch with Perry Barr trainers directly to make sure that their dogs are supported through this short period without racing opportunities.β
βWe would like to thank everyone involved for their flexibility in these ever-testing Covid times. With the enforced break in racing, we will bring forward the planned installation of the new LED lighting system at Perry Barr, which will substantially improve the track lightingβ.
