NEW track record holder Bockos Belly versus reigning champion Deerjet Sydney is one of the eye-catching clashes thrown up by the third round draw for the Star Sports/TRC English Derby, which took place at lunchtime.
Patrick Janssens' 29.03sec scorer pulled trap two in the eighth and last of Saturday's eliminators, with Pat Buckley's Irish star getting the red jacket.
There were two seeding changes announced in advance of the draw, with Gaytime Milo and Knocknaboul Syd both getting the middle tag.
The Graham Holland-trained Gaytime Milo qualified in second in heat seven behind Adeles Duke. He went middle from trap one and also steered a middle course around the opening bend, and received trap four in heat six.
Knocknaboul Syd, third behind Frankies Jet and Queen Beyonce after slow start in heat eight, stayed relatively straight from trap two although Buckley's dog did drift middle on the bend.
He also got trap four and will face impressive second-round winner Roxholme Sheikh in heat five, with Hayley Keightley's star again drawing trap one.
