Crayford trainer Daly relinquishes licence...

CRAYFORD trainer Kerry Daly has relinquished her licence in the aftermath of last week's incident at the track which saw her Burrow Fantastic appear to vomit on parade before running fifth in an A5 contest.
Daly had been due to have her first runners since the incident on Tuesday night but took the decision to hand her licence in, resulting a raft of withdrawals from the card.
Confirming the news, the track's racing manager Danny Rayment said: "Kerry has taken the decision to hand in her licence with the GBGB. We had been working with her to try and integrate her runners back on to the card, but for personal reasons she does not want to continue.
"I've been to the kennels and we will work together to find the best possible outcome to the situation for all involved, including the greyhounds."
The incident, which saw a furious backlash on social media, is the subject of a local inquiry, which Rayment expects to conduct in the next few days having gathered statements. The findings will then be forwarded to the GBGB.
