Unfortunately with Marks style of running NAP means nothing - but this thread is suppose to be about him so here’s hoping he puts his best foot forward tonight and gets the win he deserves for the numerous consistent efforts he has given.

Yet another top notch run by Mark tonight, getting beat by the minimum after first bend trouble by a newcomer that was supported like defeat was out of the question. These things happen but proud of his efforts again and one day he will get the win he truly deserves. Safe and sound always mate.

MARK THE REF is fast becoming the bookies friend.
This greyhound is running well but he just cant get his head in front where it matters most 'THE WINNING POST'
He ran a very good race this evening down at the ZOO but the fact remain it's back on the 28th August since he last landed the gold medal.
Here's hoping the tide turns soon for the very game 'MTR'

Thanks for the lovely post NR. Nothing is quite going right for Mark at the moment, seems to either find one just a little too good or getting trouble round the first two bends and finishing well to be beaten a short distance. He never runs a bad race and always gives 100%, so I feel a bit sorry for him really as he is running well and trying hard for nothing but hopefully one race soon things will go his way and he will get the win he truly deserves. Maybe there might be a 590 metre race coming up soon that may suit him, but I'll leave that to Bev to see what she thinks as she knows him better than anyone. As for bookies friend, couldn't agree more but whoever backed him at 4/5 tonight needs their head feeling to be honest - with his style of running at the moment there is absolutely no value on show there. Main thing as far as we are concerned is always safe and sound.

THERE DOES SEEM TO BE A TREND FOR BACKING A LOT OF OUR DOGS. if you look at some of the races our dogs are of the board often. like the first race.it was the dog's first race yet fav.MADNESS. but I don't care personally, back away, bookies friend. well, some people must be lonely. or clueless.or got plenty.

This greyhound is expensive to follow he's come down from A4, A6 now and should be winning, he was knocking on the door in A5, gets beat a neck last week and last night I thought he was disappointing
