Due to low overnight temperatures and an unsafe racing surface, this morning's greyhound racing fixture has been abandoned.

RACING OFFICE MOVE TAKEN FROM THE GREYHOUND STAR — DECEMBER 8, 2022Suffolk Downs have confirmed that Racing Manager Martin Race is departing as of today and is expected to join the Doncaster Racing Office from next week.
Martin’s position at Suffolk Downs is to be taken by Robbie Steward who spent time at GBGB before joining the racing office at Towcester.
James Chalkley, Head of Racing for Henlow Racing Ltd said: “We wish Martin all the best for the future and wish Robbie good luck in his new role.” |

The 2023 Star Sports/TRC English Greyhound Derby will move back one week
after a request from Star Sports was granted by the GBGB. Russ Candler Managing Director of sponsors Star Sports said: “We are delighted to be supporting the English Greyhound Derby for the seventh successive year.
“It’s hard to find any gaps in the busy summer sporting schedule, however we feel the revised date for the final on Saturday 1 July will rightly allow the race to have centre stage. This will hopefully give it every chance of being a success to not only existing greyhound fans but also potentially a new audience as well.
“We look forward to working again with the team at Towcester to ensure the 2023 Star Sports English Greyhound Derby will be the best yet.”
Kevin Boothby said “Star Sports contacted Nathan (Corden) to request the change in dates which I believe is due to Royal Ascot being a week later than anticipated. This now means the First Round will commence on 25th/26th/27th May with the Final on Saturday 1st July.” |

Like the new colour lay out here on the forum.
Let's hope it attracts a few more members posting in 2023.
RE: BVOF members posting up well if they choose just to come on every day and read then that's fine by me.
But in saying that I would welcome there input for sure it can at times become a little lonely here on the B.V.O.F. but in saying that i get a lot of positive messages and emails during the year.
SO WE WILL JUST KEEP ON GOING / TRYING IN 2023...
