Mr Murry might be asked to stay on a little longer, and given a fuel card to sweeten it a little..

Trainer Murray is in no rush to leave the ZOO..
The way I see it he will stay on board until a replacement is found.
But you must remember this the Belle Vue Racing Office advertised for a new trainer before 'MM' handed in his notice so in truth the track are in need of at least 2 new trainers may be 3 or even 4.

Over the last 18 months , 2 trainers have left stating that they could not make it pay and a third is about to leave probably for that very reason. Why would other trainers want to come to Belle Vue thinking they can make it pay ? What business logic could they have. The product is good.Could be even better. The prize money is diabolical and the main reason for the current situation. The place is a sh!t hole lacking in investment from a backward thinking organisation .What sort of profit is the track making ? The management would appear poor and unimaginative although they may be under constraint from head office. Fortunately I have really enjoyed it in my short time as an owner and am glad I became one.

Your spot on 'george36' Our old shabby stadium is falling down and of course the prize-money is pretty poor these days.
But in saying that I only live 7 miles from the track these days and if it ever did close I for one would really miss it.
Here's hoping things change for the better sooner rather than later.

Why would any trainer with any decent dogs in his or her kennel possibly consider being contracted to the Zoo, Over the last few months how many decent A1 or A2 events as there been, will be even less now after the events of the last few days. Bellevue seems to be going down the path of lower grade racing to satisfy the Hen and Stag parties and sod the proper dog men. Don't get me wrong I am not bad mouthing the lower grading dogs but you must all agree it would be nice every now and again to see a few decent dogs. Mind you I wouldn't fancy sending a good dog to be LOOKED AFTER by the RO
