Yes, lets hope she manages to get to Romford and Sheffield next week eh? Hopefully over the next 24 / 48 hours the weather will ease and things will get back to normal.
It does appear certain areas are worse than others by the way where are you located 'miraclegrow21'?

Yes, lets hope she manages to get to Romford and Sheffield next week eh? You've obviously got your knickers in a twist over something - which wouldn't be any bad thing if only you had got "any" of your facts right! Suffice is to say - that June consulted with her owners and the track Stewards before doing the responsible thing and looking after the animal welfare first! If only you knew (perhaps you are - I wouldn't know) just how bad the weather affects this entry lane up to the kennels - you would perhaps temper your judgement somewhat! Last time there were similar conditions - it took until 4am to get home and then put the dogs in the kennels - who are you really thinking of? - just yourself! You will no doubt be aware that there are enough "anti's" around that view this board, you could be one yourself for all I know, but it hardly helps our "caring" image with senseless posting does it!

TAKEN FROM THE RACING POST WEBSITE
Nottingham called off its evening meeting at 11.30am. βWeβve had a lot of snow but would be fine to race,β explained promoter Rachel Corden, βbut our trainers have reported terrible journeys home last night and we donβt want to expose them to the same tonight, both getting here and returning.β
*Please note this evenings meetings at Coventry, Doncaster, Perry Barr and Sheffield have also been abandoned due to the conditions.

We had Noirs Mona and Blue in Junes van on that arduous journey home to the kennel's and where only worried that June, Alison and all the greyhounds got home safely, they left early with our blessings, any owner worried more about missing a few bob in run/win money than the welfare of the girls and the dogs in their care should be vilified with vigour.

As a LONG STANDING OWNER in June's kennel,i must say if any of my dogs missed their intended race because of safety issues, to either my trainer or dog then i wouldn't complain about the loss of any revenue.June knows that she has our full backing on such occasions & to anybody who doesn't agree with me 'GET OUT OF GREYHOUND RACING,& GET A LIFE'

Vilified with vigour?! Ha, get on with it then.....Manseefan, are you 100% sure June consulted the owners? All of them? As you all seem to think this was a welfare issue, i'll ask the question again....what difference would staying another hour make?
Vilified with vigour....you crack me up you lot do........bring it on...

It must be a concern with the van being a mile away from the kennels
