LET'S HOPE THE BELLE VUE RACING OFFICE TEAM HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE OTHER CONTRACT
TRAINERS TO BRING A COUPLE OF RESERVES TO THE TRACK THIS EVENING AS COVER JUST IN CASE OF TRAINER McCOMBE NOT BEING ABLE TO GET OUT OF HER KENNELS..
BUT IF NO EMERGENCY PLANS ARE IN PLACE THEN IT MAY MEAN A FEW VACANT TRAPS THIS EVENING DOWN AT THE ZOO. |

Cally, Andy Heyes has just phoned to say Home Sizzler runs as a reserve from the six box tonight. I take it then that June is snowed in - but not absolutely certain that this is the reason why our bitch runs.

Vilified with vigour?! Ha, get on with it then.....Manseefan, are you 100% sure June consulted the owners? All of them? As you all seem to think this was a welfare issue, i'll ask the question again....what difference would staying another hour make? Vilified with vigour....you crack me up you lot do........bring it on... Yes all owners were consulted and at the time the track was left the roads were just passable they worsened before they were reached had she left earlier the van would have got to kennels had she left later the situation would have been worse so the right decision was made. |

Miraclegrow, you are entitled to your opinion but it is obvious that you are in a minority of one. Thankfully, June and her dogs arrived home safely.

why didnt the other trainers help her out by taking her dogs for the night,odds on she was going too have problems getting home.better an empty van than one full of dogs.

Miraclegrow, you are entitled to your opinion but it is obvious that you are in a minority of one. Thankfully, June and her dogs arrived home safely. Doesn't mean i'm wrong and you're right necessarily. Haven't heard anything yet that tells me the dogs couldn't have ran. Between the track and the trainer a decision was made to not run those dogs - why should the owner foot that bill. The conversation should have been "I'll leaving early i'm afraid, not your fault of course, i'll ensure you aren't billed for this week and the track have reassured me your dog will get a run at the earliest opportunity" |
