The death of ex-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher changed plans to broadcast the prestigious fourth round draw for the Tetley’s Challenge Cup live on national radio, as BBC Radio 5live opted to continue its’ coverage of the deceased past premier. The draw was instead carried live across some local BBC radio stations. This was the most highly anticipated draw of the season, where the Superleague sides join the competition for the first time, and as usual it threw up a couple of all Superleague ties. The draw was held at the Halliwell-Jones Stadium, home of the Cup holders, in front of representatives from all clubs still in the competition. The Final will be held at Wembley Stadium on the 24th August and discounted tickets are available now with code ‘UPGRADE32’ at Rugby League Tickets. League legend Alex Murphy made the draw alongside Bruce Ray, Communications Director of Carlsberg UK, the parent company of title sponsors Tetley’s. The draw in full was; Wigan Warriors v. Leigh Centurions Hemel Stags v. Wakefield Wildcats Hunslet Hawks v. Catalans Dragons Rochdale Hornets v. Bradford Bulls Batley Bulldogs v. Huddersfield Giants Hull FC v. North Wales Crusaders Sheffield Eagles v. Dewsbury Rams London Broncos v. Featherstone Rovers Halifax v. Barrow Raiders Widnes Vikings v. Doncaster Keighley Cougars v. Warrington Wolves Leeds Rhinos v. Castleford Tigers Gloucestershire All Golds v. Salford City Reds York Knights v. Toulouse Olympique Whitehaven v. Workington Town Hull KR v. St. Helens
As usual there are a few cracking looking ties which will be played over the weekend of the 20th and 21st April. We will find out in a couple of days which matches the BBC has chosen to televise.

Holders Warrington will play Huddersfield in the quarter-finals of the Tetley's Challenge Cup. Warrington: Face Huddersfield in Tetley's Challenge Cup The tie, to be played on the last weekend of July, is a repeat of the 2009 final which Warrington won 25-16.
That was the first of three Wembley triumphs in four years for the Wolves, who were 34-12 winners over Huddersfield in the Super League at the John Smith's Stadium a fortnight ago.
The other eye-catching tie is Catalan Dragons' home tie against in-form Hull.
The Dragons were beaten finalists in 2007 while Hull, who have won seven of their last eight matches in all competitions, lifted the Cup in 2005.
Favourites Wigan landed a home tie against Widnes while London Broncos got the tie all the seven Super League clubs wanted when they were paired with Sheffield Eagles, the only part-time club left in the competition.
Sheffield coach and chief executive Mark Aston, who was man of the match when the Eagles stunned Wigan to win the Cup at Wembley in 1998, admitted he could not have been happier with the draw.
"We wanted either one of the top clubs away or London or Widnes at home and I'd say we're happy with how it's turned out," Aston said.
"It would be massive for us to get to the semi-finals and we're capable of it. We're at home and we know how to play at home."
The tie, to be played on the weekend of July 26, will almost certainly be played at Don Valley Stadium, which is due to close at the end of the year.
"It's a great way to close the stadium," Aston said. The pairings for the quarter-finals of the Tetley's Challenge Cup are: Catalan Dragons v Hull Warrington v Huddersfield Wigan v Widnes Sheffield Eagles v London Broncos Ties to be played on the weekend of July 12-13.
