 Hall Green: 54 lot-sales kick off with trials on Sunday at 11am Unraced Droopys head Hall Green sale on SundayA TOTAL of 54 lots are due to go under the hammer when British Combined Greyhound Sales stage their latest auction
at Hall Green on Sunday.
The third trial should spark interest as it features Shedfield Melody, a January 12 son of Goldmine Ramble and Rising Promise
who has won two of his three starts at Youghal, the last in a calculated 29.60sec for the 480 metres.
The Dunphy brothers will send over four unraced youngsters. Litter-sisters Droopys Delilah and Droopys Angel, April 12 whelps by dual Derby winner Westmead Hawk out of Droopys Sign, will be closely watched when they meet in the eighth trial. The word is Droopys Angel is considered promising by her breeders.
Pre-sale trials commence at 11am, after which there will be a break when videos of the trials can be watched and the Irish books examined.
The auction is due to commence around 1.30pm. |
