how do you get belle vue replays on there,ive noticed some races have videos on for some dogs eg 8th may hug the rails race,whos put that on

I did, she's one of my dogs :-) You can buy the DVD from BV. Ask on reception. Use a bit of software on PC to convert to .avi, WMV or MP4 file then upload to data.

thanks hendax,might as wll talk chinese to me as say all that wmv mp4 stuff,i am a one finger typer!Will wait until one of yours meets ours (Karlow Pearl)then you can put it on!Can u buy the meeting dvd again or just individual races.

Is there a limit on how far back you can go to buy race DVDs and do you have to specify the specific race/meeting or are they archived by dog?

I'm not sure how far back they go and when you ask for them they usually ask for date and dog. They tend to put several on one disk so I usually wait for several wins and then get them together.

Thanks for the info Hendax. If I wait for several wins DVD will probably have become obsolete, so probably best if I request a specific race! |

I don't know why the RO don't allow owners to purchase and then download individual races through the lovethedogs.co.uk owners area. They obviously have the video files and I'm sure wouldn't sniff at the revenue.

By rights all recordings of races at every track in England should be available on the GBGB website.
There should be no need for any owners and trainers to have to buy a recording of there greyhounds racing.
Over in Ireland on the IGB website they provide this facility but for some unknown reason we will not follow there forward thinking lead in England.
