Tonight at Gowran park we may have seen a really nice prospect for the top 2yo races and who knows next years classics.
Indian Maharaja owned by the Tabor Smith and magnier combination he won very easily tonight and promptly dumped Joseph O,Brien on the turf.
Nice horse

I was at Sandown a week ago when Sadiq ran in a maiden..cruised up 2f out but IMO wasn,t given a great ride..talking of rides the next day I was at Salisbury when G.Baker gave Asian Trader a shocker..entered Leicester Thursday or Newmarket Friday. Going back a few weeks Goldream should have won at York..Cowbell a top sprint trainer who will aim for either a big handicap or group race..I expect this horse to be group 1/2 by the end of the season

Notebook has produced 3 bets so far 2 losers and sadiq winning at 11/4 . A small profit of .75 pts. Not bad to be honest . I shall try to put an up to date list in Alphabetical order so its easier to keep in touch. I have another for the notebook. Details later.

Wednesdays eyecatcher was Flair For Fashion a 2yo owned by John Fretwell. Quietly backed just before the off she blew the start by 7=8 lengths and was given a easy ride until gaining ground in the straight. She travelled well and I would say is probably the best horse in this race despite finishing 7th.
Deserves a space in this thread.

Fergal obrien has taken a low rated horse from the point to point field. Potters dream. Expect it to win a low grade summer hurdle over 2m6f or so.

Thought Albasharah trained by Saeed bin Suroor for Godolphin was an unlucky loser last Friday at Royal Ascot in a 10 furlong handicap. She was in an impossible position yet ended up being beaten only a couple of lengths. Jockey Silvestre De Sousa was doing his best with the handbrake coming home but she still finished in eye catching style under hands and heels. One problem with this type of unlucky loser though is that they tend to be underpriced and overbacked on their next run. Henry entered up for Lancashire oaks Saturday afternoon at Haydock. William hills have it up 2/1! Way to short for a horse beaten in a handicap which was unlucky but now taking the rise in class will it be worth backing at those short early prices!

Was 6/1 with bet365 when the betting opened. 11/4 is best now

Magic Destiny won very well in the 2:30 at Ayr. Jockey didn't even ask for any more from the horse as it cruised to victory. Worth keeping an eye on.

Taajub owned and trained by peter crate caught the eye in the 5furlong sprint at Sandown on Friday. Got no sort of run in the last furlong and had lots left under the bonnet at the line.
He won twice at this time last year and looks ready to strike again. I shall check the entries later today and let everyone know if any notebook horses are engaged,.
