I went to Belle vue on Saturday to watch my dog run. The track was packed, the sun was shining, its great to see the place so busy. But there's hundreds of people stood around drinking and enjoying themselves outside with no where to sit down, theres people sat on the steps and floor getting trampled on.
Near the first bend there's a row of old blue plastic broken seats bolted to the wall, that look like they where donated when main road was knocked down, they need removing and throwing away they look a mess. Theres a few old rotern and rickety tables and benches, they want throwing away there old, dirty and rotern. What's needed in my opinion between the finish line and the first bend area is around 20 or 30 new tables and benches with sun parasols to create a beer garden atmosphere.(not cheap plastic furniture but wooden commercial type round picnic tables with benches that bolt to the floor) There's been enough pubs shutting down there must be an abundance of this type of furniture available second hand if they don't want to buy new.
