I've already backed HAWKEYETHENOO at 20/1 [Each-Way] for this years Stewards Cup on Saturday 3rd August.
Hawkeyethenoo is now best priced at 14/1 with the majority of firms and I firmly believe he should
at least make the frame
Most firms are going 1/4 odds 1,2,3,4.

Dawn approach in the Sussex for me best miler about and 6/4 is overpriced if toronado runs

Over the years I can say I find Goodwood very tough. Think jockeyship and draw is very important.
As his record shows Richard hughes is about the best jockey round here.
Ryan Moore is also up there with the best. Lots of trouble in the round course races over 7f and a mile.
I take it very cautiously but Like Jimmy think hawkeythenoo has a big chance in the Stewartds cup.

dawn approach would be a lay at 6/4 IMO intello n toranado more the first are very good opposition.... hughes n hannon rate toranado as good as canford cliffs big statment from them......

It's all about the going again at the moment good, good to soft in places so horses out of form on top of the groung may suddenly pop up out of the blue now there's a bit of give in the going and possibly more rain about.
Mark Johnston as a 30% strike rate at Goodwood and the stable is in very good form just now. I notice Sir Graham Wade is a Pricewise selection and he's owned by ex Manchester bookie Paul Dean. I've had my eye on him his last few runs and he ran better than position indicates on his penultimate run at Haydock and although I can see him performing well I think I'll let him run and hope I don't get egg on my face.
The horse reminds me of Pauls Deano's Beano also trained by Mark and after a one paced run at York a few years ago I suggested to Paul after the race he might make a good hurdler. Alas he sold him on for I think £20 odd thousand and the rest was history although he still got the publicity out of the horses name.
So to sum up nothing from me today unless you fancy backing all Mark's horses blind.
