Well done to connections with Leo's impressive win at Perry Barr tonight.

A strong Maiden Open won in good style lost some lengths in running but finished strongly over 660m. Leo's future always looked to be over six bends and from tonight's run hopefully more Open wins to come. CHESTER

Great win for the lad - and well overdue as he has been putting in some sterling performances in A1 & Opens without getting the breaks!

It looks like I am the one who will be getting the breaks now imo - I think I will now be barred by Chris and Dougie - they call me jinxy!

We're hoping he gets in the Laddies Festival at Monmore - this will be much tougher, but as they say, ya gotta be innit to winnit, and I'm due a day out soon once I recover from this pesky Flu!

Now hoping for the double up with the lads on Sunday - will make for a great weekend if they rediscover their goalscoring touch agin Sunderland.
