Corgrigg Candy blk b Jan 12 PUP (Eden Brett x Hollands Jet)
Candy ran in her first race last night at Belle Vue.
Race comments. Bumped 1, mid
Candy trapped well, running up to the first bend amongst the other dogs where she was bumped twice
This put her a good 6 lengths off the lead and she ran on strongly to finish in 5th position only beaten 2,1/2 lengths by the winner
Lots of improvement to follow from this young pup with only one race of her life under her belt
she has good early pace and she stays
Priced to sell at £1300

Candy won her first race tonight. 1 win from 3 runs
She shown good early pace going into the bend but was badly bmp 2nd which put her in 4th position. She ran on to be 3rd at the 3rd bend and coming off the last bend she had caught the leader and ran on to win and was clear at the pick up.
Great guts and determination won this young pup this race tonight at 6/1
She will improve a good 10 lengths with time but she looks like an exciting staying prospect.

Good win tonight , did it the hard way which is always good to see in a youngster. Onwards and upwards.
