Performance of the Month - October

Our congratulations go to the Nigel Saunders kennel and Martin Pulford whose greyhound Slaheny Molly has won the award.

In an A1 race on the 12th Slaheny Molly pounced out the traps and showed no mercy to trounce her rivals, winning by five and a half lengths.

She clocked an impressive time of 27.85 seconds which wrapped up the award for her.

After coming back from a broken wrist sustained in June 2015, Molly suffered a hock break last Sunday which required the insertion of two screws. Nigel reports she is doing well and will hopefully soon be back in full fitness before returning back to Eire to have a litter of pups.

Not a flashy sort, her ability to hit a lid saw her win a good number of races and whilst not a race she won, watching her lead arguably the two best bitches in the comp in the first round of the Oaks in 2014 was a cracking site.

Thanks Roisin. Fingers crossed we get the bit of luck you need with pups. She was the only brindle bitch in the litter, so was an easy choice.
