My forever lasting memory of Bat On was the night he won the Totesport Gold Collar Final when trained by Charlie Lister that was way back in May 2005.
That night we were the guests of the sponsors Totesport In the Granada Suite because I had won a competition which included full hospitality and a free £100 bet on the final and of course I had it on Bat On. He hit the lids that night and set a new track-record of 27.34sec and the sponsors were delighted when they paid me out at even-money after the race. HAPPY DAYS AT THE ZOO.
May you now rest in peace Bat On Norma.

I had the pleasure of stroking bat on one night when he was at the zoo I will always remember that he was one of my favourite greyhounds in training.
