Very sad to hear the news that reggie had to be PTS on Xmas eve.

A gentleman amongst the dog world.

Fastest Calculated time of the year around BV for the 590 in 2010 winning an open by nearly 10 lenghs!

His brother Saint jack took all the plaudits but reg was by far the fastest doing the fastest time of the whole competition in the semifinals of the 2010 produce stakes only to be baulked badly at the traps by his brother and only just getting beat by him in the final.

He was plagued by injury all his career and never reached his full potential.

He will be a sad loss for us all.

What a lovely dog Reggie was and one of the fastest I have been fortunate to school ,I remember  him beating Ted soppit's dog Droopys joe out of sight as you said Bluey, and out of all the pups in the produce stakes he was 2nd quickest after just two sprints in a couple of months. Mill Jaguar of Charlie Listers was quickest but Reggie went on to beat him convincingly in the semi-final , but the great shame was he never got to run in many 6 bend races . As a novice in his first run out of the boxes his split time was a couple of lengths of Bubbly Totti that years St Leger winner at Doncaster and yet when he went on Sheffield they said he couldn't start ? Thank god Brendan gave him the chance to prove himself on the open circuit and he did fulfill some of his potential .R.I.P

Very sad news - our condolences to all concerned.

One of the fastest offspring of the prolific brood Simple Pleasure - he could have been anything over 6 bends and but for a better run may well have won his brother Saint Jack's Produce.

Very sad in deed to hear about Reggie a very brave and well mannered greyhound indeed, my condolences and sadness go out to Brendan and his family. Sleep Well Brave lad
