Following a scintillating victory in the top grade on the 22nd, FLAMBOYANT  has won the accolade and congratulations go to his owners Craig Gardiner and Alfred Element and also his trainer Joy Andrews.

Flamboyant has often showed the potential to suggest he was capable of such a devastating run and proved it by stopping the clock at 27:66 seconds to beat a classy field by over three lengths.

When he brakes how he did yesterday I can not think of a graded dog past or present that would be capable of beating him . Certainly one of the best grades dogs to grace belle vue since I've been going . Well done

owned by Mr E Smith, Mr K Smith  and trained by Andy Heyes
clocked 27.44sec {4.22sec split}
on 22nd August 2012 in A2 company.

I remember the race very well....

The Monleek Rocking race was given as +15 whereas Flamboyant ran on normal going yesterday, which seemed about right.
