Good evening Half Pint First of all I must thank young Bev for persevering with you and getting you back in rude health and the Racing Office for putting you in a sprint which is more to your liking And look at you on the podium in all your finery after your win in a sponsored race last night very well done Cleo Unfortunately I was unable to watch your race as I was at Shawfield the only Greyhound track in Scotland a place not for the faint hearted but with deep pockets all the races were five dog handicaps but you my little Thumbelina got me out of the mire with a nice win at a tasty 5/1 You will also be the toast of my many new chums in Glasgows oldest pub "The Scotia" where I was partaking in a liquid lunch in the afternoon and told everyone who cared to listen that I thought you had a great chance after being dropped in distance a place with your help I can visit again and get a dram or two instead of a Glasgow Kiss Well done again Half Pint

Good evening Half Pint What can I say about your performance yesterday? The first thing is that it is very much a case of Sods law and secondly that some how you were privy to a conversation that I had not more than a hour before your race with Anna Thompson a trainer from Nottingham! I was talking about the team with Anna and mentioned to her that you were running later that evening but I said that although the race was very open and you had every chance the only trouble was that with your style of running you would need to catch a bus to get the 470 at the Zoo and be there with a chance of victory at the finish Well Cleo you firmly put your dad in his place and I am certain I saw the middle digit aimed at the camera When I saw you fire yourself out of the traps like a benker from a catapult get the lead and take about four lengths out of the field I thought if only the race was 370 and then when you got to the final bend I resigned myself that you would tread water from then on running on vapours but I was WRONG not only did you keep up the gallop but you won by two lengths all I can say is fantastic very well done you are my very own Thumbelina Have yourself a well earned rest as the heady heights of grade A9 await

Good evening Half Pint Well my little Thumbelina it was most definitely not out of the question you did what it said on the tin Pinged those lids and whoosh you were gone a little prezzy for your dad so proud of you small in stature but BIG in heart(those breathing exercises I told you to do when I visited the kennels on the morning worked a treat) you Cleo are carrying the team on those tiny shoulders the other two should hang there heads in shame By the way I know your belly would have been a little empty as you were racing yesterday but mine was most definitely full this morning down at the Zoo you see Cleo I was feeling a little peckish so I took advantage of the "Sunday Brunch" they offer at the track and I will tell you young lady what a cracking deal you get for your money especially if you are a owner with your discount its even better a full English/toast and cuppa of your choice all served by really pleasant staff just what the doctor ordered before my journey up north

Good morning Half Pint A raise in grade for you tonight after your wonderful victory last Saturday for your dad who as you know was there in person to witness it but sadly I cannot make it tonight If you can do as you did last time and get to the front early doors theirs nothing to say you cannot gain another victory but it will be tough as their are dogs coming down in grade but you will always try your best and that's a certainty and one last thing if a certain dog comes for a "Chat" its not to ask you out! May your race be trouble free and you my Thumbelina come back safe and sound

Good evening Half Pint Another gusty performance from you last night down at the place they call the Zoo you made your old dad so proud yet again Although you could not get to the front and kick on as you did last week you kept yourself up at the sharp end battling all the way to the line finishing a creditable third fingers crossed you keep clear of any little niggles or injuries and you are still able to carry the flag for team Borosilicate which you do with aplomb
