Great website 'THE GREYHOUND RACING TIMES'
Quite sad when you click on the old tracks i use to attend when growing up.
Salford and White City {Manchester} and of course the one and only Bolton...
HAPPY DAYS BACK THEN...

Just to let you now I will be at the zoo tonight, if anybody wants to put anything on the website regarding memorabilia come and see me. If you don't know who I am see Jimmy Rowley he will point me out. No debt collectors please lol.

Has all the comments and the times from each race wrote in as I was working in the racing office that night. Would you be interested in that? |

Thanks Topcat for your kind words regarding the website. Just sifting through a cluster of Greyhound Owner newspapers at present dated between 1959 and 1964, a period which witnessed the closure of a good number of tracks and to me the start of the decline of greyhound racing. There will be around three hundred or so cuttings added to the site over the next few weeks. If anybody can add to the site regarding images of category winning presentation jackets or trophies and also old stadium photos, these images would be very much welcome on the GRT site.
