FOBVS - LATEST UPDATE THE FIGHTBACK BEGINS Ref:COVENANT - Help needed with OBJECTION - letters of support Just in from our chair:Simon! Hi Alan,Back in February 2019, I got our lawyer to submit to the Planning Committee and the City's lawyers a copy of the Restrictive Covenant registered on Belle Vue and whilst it was made clear to us that it is not a matter of consideration for the Planning Committee it still has powers to prevent building or change of use.
What we need now is local residents to object to this covenant being broken and copy to the Planning Department, Town Hall, Crown Oil, and Countryside Properties UK Ltd I have attached office copies and need volunteer LOCAL RESIDENT supporters! If you want to cheer folks up and publish the covenant that's fine.Hi All - It is now time for us to give our concerted response to the decision recently taken by Manchester Planning when totally ignoring guidelines provided at local and government level, on our ACV order, granted by council, along with various other consideration that they could have given us before making their decision on planning being granted! Please contact all of your friends, relatives, work and school colleagues - even if they themselves don't live in the area, there is every chance that their friends and family will know of someone who does and is prepared to help us with written support! We will provide support and help when and where we are able, please throw everything behind this, show that we care and are not prepared to go down without a fight! Thanking you in anticipation Alan - FOBVS - ACV - Belle Vue 100

FOBVS - UPDATE ON OUR FIGHT FOR SURVIVAL The latest step in our fight to secure the future of our beloved Stadium begins - essentially, from tomorrow! This campaign will run in tandem with all other initiatives currently ongoing!
Just in - From our Chair, Simon.....
FOBVS have taken steps to begin the search for an investor to enable us to enact the legal principles contained within the Asset of Community Value Order successfully obtained on July 2018.
The terms within this order make it clear we have the legal right to bid for the freehold and we now wish to move forward with this.
The GBGB have kindly agreed to act as a conduit by providing us with an email address at their offices fobvs@gbgb.org.uk and it will appear in the Racing post shortly and the sole purpose of this is to give the stadium the best possible chance of survival which we feel can not be realistic without regaining the freehold.
Regards
Simon Walmsley, FOBVS
Our thanks - as always, to Simon!
Alan - FOBVS - ACV accredited
More as we go......onwards and upwards!
